Re: Goodbye WRX, Hello Civic Si! New Daily Driver

I agree with that! Wish I could hear the turbo more than the exhaust. I do like the growl the engine makes though.

Re: Goodbye WRX, Hello Civic Si! New Daily Driver

Nice! Congrats. I bought a 2017 solid red Si a few months ago. Haven't detailed it yet. You know, shoemaker's kid. Hope my paint isn't as tough to detail as your Subbie's paint. You on CivicX forums?
  3. Re: Bought this pressure washer..... but it won't pull from a tank of water... Any help on what pressure washer will?

It is my understanding a pressure washer with a triplex pump should be able to draw water but if it's not, you can also use one of these:

I really like Optimum Poli-Seal. Easy to work with, low-dusting, has micro abrasives and removes easily. It's a very very good all-in-one.

    Re: AHHhhhhhhhh...Mexican Coca-Cola...

I get it all the time, black Mexican Coke that is. It tastes much better with sugar and being stored in glass over aluminum (this last part I'm not so sure about).

Hostess is selling their brand aren't they?

Maybe it was "union" employees asking for too much, maybe it was bad management or maybe it was both. Oh well, companies rise and fall every year. It's...

Re: Washing your car in your driveway a new crime!

Don't know about every county in California, but in my county (Los Angeles), I wash my car as often as I like (average once a week) and when I go to the grocery store I walk out with plastic bags....

Re: Is this pad still dirty?

After all you've done to it, I'm pretty sure it's as clean as it's going to get. In fact, it looks discolored.

Re: Was my price to high? help

Sometimes I wonder if the price we charge attracts a particular kind of customer??? I believe so, so with that being said, charge what YOU want to be paid and what you think is fair, then stick to...

Re: Made in USA vs world

I prefer to buy "Made in U.S.A." products too, but it needs to be clearly labeled (because I will not look for where it's made) and it has to be of similar value to its competition. I still believe...

Re: Why take the oils off a polish?

If a customer is paying for swirl removal, than they better get that and not simply filling with polishing oils. For personal vehicles, not so much a problem.

Sheepskin wool mitts are my "go to" wash media. I've thought about buying the pads but I gotta go through my current inventory first.

  25. Re: Getting racked over the coals on AG shipping costs

I hear you. Customers that don't know the system miss out. It would be great if they had a free shipping over "X" amount of dollars permanently affixed to their home page for all customers to see....
