  1. Is there any type of sealant that can stand up to an automatic carwash?

I know the idea of using an automatic carwash is almost sacrilegious here, but particularly in the winter, it's terribly impractical to handwash a car at certain times. I bought a bottle of The Last...
  2. Re: 15 y/o Truck Never Detailed...Compound or Damp Sand?

It's never going to be a show truck, just want it to shine up and be easier to keep clean than the oxidized paint is. My interest is more about what's going to give a better overall job in a given...

I have a few pictures, but its soooo hard to capture the condition of the white paint in a picture. I've done some trials on it and I would say the damp sanding gives a slightly better all finish...

I have multiple vehicles of varying sizes.

Re: Paint sealant and new car?

It was built in February. The waiting period logic has been around for quite some time, but paint technology has obviously changed as well so I just wasn't sure if the logic was still applicable.

    Paint sealant and new car?

Do new cars require the 2-3 month waiting period for paint curing before you can apply something like Opti-Seal to the paint?
