Re: Fuzion.. Does this look normal to you?

I think shes just talking about the Jar. The actual jar, not the whole wax.

BTW thats how mine looked and thats how all of my waxes looked before I actually took the first swipe

    EDIT: maybe she...
  2. Re: Poorboy's clay: reason it's not sold here @ AG?

TOL stands for Top Of the Line. Another detailing supplier.
  3. Re: Poorboy's clay: reason it's not sold here @ AG?

A fine grade WILL remove what a medium grade can BUT it will be much slower.

Its like saying a fine polish will remove what a compound can remove. Yes it will remove it but with far more time and...

Re: Last Post B4 Buy - Why these products?

OID is a "gloss enhancer". Imo ONR and the DP equivalent don't add much in terms of looks. OID will add considerable gloss and slickness over either.

The only overlap is the 303 PB and DP.

    Re: The Shamrock Micorfiber

I'm gonna be honest and say I'm not a big fan of them. YES, they are plush as hell. NO, the towel itself will not scratch the most delicate of paints. BUT, the edges/corners will.

    The corners are...
  6. Re: Just got my order in today. Need some guidance.

BTW I believe #2 and #9 are for rotary use only.

I've never used them so I have no clue how they work with a DA. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Just wanted to throw that out there

    Re: Anybody use Jeff's Werkstat?

Yes I've used prime strong. You don't have to work it in unless you want correction. If you just worked it real quick over a panel, it may correct soft paints, but mostly it will chemically clean it...

    Re: Anybody use Jeff's Werkstat?

Go with prime strong. It has more acrylic than the regular prime and even has slight correcting abilities where as prime is more of just a chemical cleaner/light sealant.

I used ajt a few times,...

Re: instant detailr between sealant coats?

Get some ONR, its perfect for these situations. Its faster than a traditional wash but more safe than a QD

    Re: rinseless wash questions.

I wouldn't say that's too dirty for onr. Just take your time and make multiple passes. If your really worried about it though, go to a coin op and blast off the big stuff and than bring it back and...

    Re: Clay Question

Well yea, the pinnacle clay isn't meant for cars with heavy amounts of contaminants.

Its an ultra fine clay. Its meant for cars that are well maintained.

Claymagic blue is a great all around...

Re: Cleaned & M105ed My Dual Exhaust

Oh are we talking about by hand? If that's the case than no, m105 won't be as effective as steelwool and some metal polish.

M105 will clean up oxidation pretty easily but by hand on chrome it...

Re: Cleaned & M105ed My Dual Exhaust

Are you guys asking about the swirl removing power of m105 or just a comparison to other metal polishes?

M105 is definitely capable of removing swirls from chrome with ease.

    My chrome trim had...

    Re: Autogeek energy drink

    That's just the water right?

I was gonna say, AG is really expanding if they're getting into the energy drink market. I wouldn't be surprised either since its pretty profitable right now

    Re: When did they start...

Use a light polish on a very small obscure area. If your applicator gets the color of the car on it than its SS. If the applicator doesn't turn any color its CC.

I use it on my engine bay and it looks great and works great.

On hard plastic optibond makes them look extremely black and rich. Same with softer rubber except it will have a slight sheen if not...

There's been many threads on autopia of people who previously used rotarys now switching to pcs. I'm not talking about just any joe...

    Re: Claying white paint nightmare

What your doing is the equivalent of trying to remove some really deep swirls with a finishing polish.

You'll remove them eventually but its going to take a lot more time and way more passes than...
