Re: Sonax PNS - multiple coats?

No second cost needed. Take your time with first coat and you’ll be fine. I applied PNS to my daughters car in April 2020 and maintained it with Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer every 3 months or so....

    Re: Wolfgang sio2 question

Agreed. I strip and reapply every spring and fall. I wash with Wolfgang Sio2 coating wash and maintain with Wolfgang Sio2 silica spray. This regimen works great for me.&
  3. Re: Suggestions about paint cleaner or all in one

Since you are using Wolfgang sealant, I would use Wolfgang paintwork polish enhancer. Don’t let the name fool you. It’s a paint cleaner. Work’s very well, have used by hand with excellent results. I...

Re: Trying to remove a stain on the paint

Glad I was able to help. That’s what this community is all about. What year GTO, 66 or 67?

Re: Trying to remove a stain on the paint

Clay bar only removes contamination embedded in the paint. It won’t remove the film you spoke of. Let me know how you make out.

Re: Trying to remove a stain on the paint

I would try a paint cleaner or light cutting polish to clean the paint. That should get rid of any film or contamination. If you don’t have a polisher, using by hand should give you the results...
  7. Re: First Major Detail Planned this Weekend - Question about Wolfgang Products

Before polishing with PPE, I would use a clay bar in order to remove all contamination. If the surface feels at all rough, definitely clay. All other steps look on point, good luck.

Re: Are there any spray sealants that are worth it?

Yep. A little pricey but, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Re: Are there any spray sealants that are worth it?

Since you have Wolfgang Sio2 paint sealant, I would use Wolfgang Sio2 silica spray on top of the sealant or as a stand alone product. I have used this combo on my red Hyundai Sonata and the paint...

    Agreed
  12. Re: Topping Sonax PNS with wax or topping wax with PNS?!

I polished my daughters car with sonax 04-06 March 2020. Applied PNS, waited 24 hours and topped with BSD. 6 months later the car was beading water like I just applied it. Jump ahead to this past...

Re: I want to try a new compound/polish/wax?

Can’t go wrong with Sonax polishes. I have used Cut and Finish, Ex 04/06, and NP 03-06 with excellent results.

Re: Ceramic coating on my Race car (dragster)

Thanks for info. I’m not a racer but, have been a drag racing fan my whole life. Sportsman as much as the pros. Know what you mean about TD getting very quick last couple years. I’m in SE Pa. Go to...

Re: Ceramic coating on my Race car (dragster)

A little of topic, what class do you run in? Top Dragster, Super Comp, both? PBL surface coating is very user friendly.

    Re: Dr. Beasley NSP Z1

I used NSP Z1 on my wife’s gray 2020 Hyundai Tucson. Used the Flex 3401 with a white LC hybrid polishing pad. 6 section passes, light pressure, wipe off immediately after section passes. Used 3...

Re: Durability Test: Wolfgang SiO2 Paint Sealant

Do you have a polisher? If so, I would do a test spot with finishing glaze and a polishing pad. If you like the results continue on. If not, do the same with total swirl remover with a light cutting...

    Re: Black Trim Upkeep?

When you use the WETS, use it very sparingly. Only 4-5 drops on your initial application is sufficient. Once the applicator has product on it only need 2-3 drops. You can use either a foam or...

  24. Re: Now available - Dr. Beasley's Z1 Ceramic AIO Primer

For those who have used NSP Z1, how many pads would you need to use to do a midsize suv? Haven’t used this yet and was wondering if I need more pads. I currently have 6 new LC white force hybrid and,...
  25. Re: Pictures: SONAX PNS + Pinnacle Jeweling Wax - Ford vs Chevy

Applied Sonax PNS on my 2015 Kia Optima last March after polishing with Sonax 04-06. Use Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer as waterless wash/detail spray. Water beading looks like I applied yesterday....
