  1. Re: For those who have both Fuzion vs. Chemical guys 50/50.

I wonder when fusion will change its formula? I have been holding onto my free refill for that moment. If it ever comes.
  2. Re: Is an IPA wipe down necessary/recommended after Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0?

Thanks I know. I was just stating it for others to be careful. I was around back then discussing IPA when Mike decided to test it to verify.
  3. Re: Is an IPA wipe down necessary/recommended after Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0?

IPA makes paint soft. That is why it induces marring. Be careful with any product contain IPA during final wipe down. All that hard work will be for nothing if you scratch the heck out of your car...

    Re: Cadillac CTS-V -Dream Detail

I love the cts-v! Too bad they are changing it for 2014. Why would they put a 420hp twin turbo v6? I think the supercharged v8 with 550hp was the selling point.
  7. Re: Ipa wipe down with 70% isopropyl alcohol mixture question

Actually Eraser does too. I have cut everything out with IPA in it. It might just be the paint on my car, but everything I use with IPA induces marring every time used. I will do a panel, wipe it...
  8. Re: Ipa wipe down with 70% isopropyl alcohol mixture question

Just be careful. A IPA wipe down can soften paint while wiping which will cause scratching/marring. It happens to my car every time I do a IPA wipe down. I switched to wurth clean solv prep...

Re: Driving behind someone, what frustrates you?

This happens all the time when I drive in Indiana. I lost count of how many confrontations I had do to this. Maybe because I have Illinois plates. LOL But this always happens on the country roads.

Re: MF pads on the Flex 3401?

I thought the Megs MF pads don't work well, but the optimum and LC MF pads work better for DA polishers. I will look at past threads to make sure.

    Re: Haze With Polish

The pink pad could be leaving some marring behind. Did you try a finishing pad at all. I would not do a one step with anything higher than a LC white pad, meaning no pink, orange or yellow without...

Re: Lake Country Flat and CCS pad questions

The green has a very mild cut to it. Remember there are 2 greens, one dark and one light. Light green is the one just above the grey/black. It is a good one step pad.

Re: Lake Country Flat and CCS pad questions

Flat pads are great for Menzerna products since they have diminishing abrasives(DAT). A CCS will hold the polish and some will not break down from being help in the dimple. So flat pads with...

Re: Speckles still on car after wash

That car definitely needs a polish badly. Like stated above, wash it again while using ironx, then clay it and then polish it. You will need a 2 step to get all those out.

Re: Never Waxing an SUV Roof again

You both know we are talking about personal cars right? Do to injuries and many surgeries, I don't do it for money anymore, just my own. Getting up top of my SUV is a pain in the you know what with...

Re: Flex 3401 generates a lot of heat?!

it is a great machine to work with. I have had it for years with no need to switch. Though I do still use my even older PC for bumpers and pillars. Keep at it!

    Re: Water Softeners, effective?

I have it and don't like it too much. It works a little but a lot of debri gets sucked up the bottom of the filter. I just have the filter version but I have a whole home softener. I have always...

Re: Flex 3401 generates a lot of heat?!

Just not too much or you'll go blind:props: Someone in another thread said the issue was fixed with new models. I have a old model so I will still lube since it doesn't hurt anything. Like...

Re: Very hot Flex XC 3401
