  1. Re: Broken Lake Country Changeable Backing Plate System

I'm sure AG and/or LC will take care of it.

How tight did you have the screw? Failure might be a little more likely there if you strong-arm the screw crazy tight.

Not here, so not sure it should be posted. Let your fingers do the walking.
  4. Re: Recommend me a low-aggressiveness (Mild) metal polish for exhaust tips

You can do a bit of polishing and even more protecting with Collinite Metal Wax. Cheap and effective.

Re: Trying to detail as a part time

This bolded statement makes no sense.

My utilities cost $0.45 per 2,000 gallons of water. As far as electricity, lets assume you max out a 15A outlet for 8hrs in one day. This amounts to 14.4 Kwh...

FWIW, I have found a much better Enzyme cleaner than Nature's Miracle. It is called Bac-Out and it is made by Biokleen. I use it on my son's cloth diapers and all the pet spots that Nature's Miracle...

Re: how about faded "GREY" trim, bumpers, etc.

The only product I know of that will restore it for a long period of time is Solution Finish.

You will still need to protect that after it dries with something like UTTG or Wolfgang ETS.
  11. Re: Ever use your detailing skill on something other than a car?

I polished my black motorcycle helmet with DC1 and DC2 before I knew what polishing was.
  12. Re: Ever use your detailing skill on something other than a car?

    Re: Upkeeping Carbon Fiber

Clear coat over CF is not much different than clear coat over color paint. You can simply treat it the same as you would regular paint, although it will most likely respond differently than the paint...
  14. Re: Worlds shortest write up! Purple Porsche Polished perfect!

Hey Joe, I really wasn't knocking you. Sorry if I came across that way. And yes, I do remember the MF system cars very well.
  15. Re: Worlds shortest write up! Purple Porsche Polished perfect!

I agree the pics can get ridiculous sometimes, but you know what's more useless than a bunch of pics? Someone who won't give their processes or products used, even via PM.

    How do simple before...

I have you to blame, sir!

Do you remember a PM conversation between the two of us? Yes, I certainly ate my words. Outstanding products.
