    Re: Porter Cable 7428 Rotary?!

I think the 7428 weighs about 9 lbs. So its pretty heavy. Remember the Makita 9227c weighs about ~6 lbs and sometimes users are annoyed by its weight.
  2. Re: Buying A New Car. Need Help on the Color...

    Sepang Bronze Metallic

Never seen a bimmer with that color before. From there you can really stand out from the rest of the bimmer colors (silver, white, black). Also, is alpine white, flat white...

    Re: M105 Caking Up?

An Update: I started a detail yesterday on a Nissan Quest with M105 via KBM (PC7424XP). And it works fine. However, when I switched up to Rotary, its like gumming up like what I said before. I primed...

    Re: M205 turns runny??????

It should not be a consistent like "water". Maybe you had a bad batch that was carelessly sold to you.

Call the support line at Meguiars. The number is located at the back of their products. They...

    Re: Carnauba over sealant??

My bad. I am really really tired. For the past few days I cant sleep. But anyways, are you saying that any brand of a sealant or wax can compromise one of the other? Or mixing a sealant or wax in one...

    Re: Carnauba over sealant??

    Durability:
    Carnauba: 2-3 Months
Sealant: 4-6 Months or even 6-8
All depends on different factors as well.

Now look above. If you put sealant first, it will adhere to the paint the longest....
  8. Re: Need help quick...before the 24 hour sale is over - Look please!!

Winter is here. Everyone already started protecting their car with some type of sealant. And you should jump the bandwagon. With the combo you suggested, you should be fine with just WG DGPS 3.0 and...
  9. Re: Need help quick...before the 24 hour sale is over - Look please!!

Stick with the Souveran. I got it when they had it BOGO a few months ago and I couldn't be more please. The shine makes the paint look wet and adds a little depth to it. Fuzion (from what I heard) is...

    Re: M105 Caking Up?

Same thing happened to me as well. After one pass it just dries up and cakes on the surface. Its really hard to remove even with IPS 50/50. And like Mike Philips said, I just add a little bit of...

    Re: 1st run with Flex-Dayuuuuum!

I got the 7424XP when it came out. Though it did its job well, but there were problems with I had personally. Such as noise, underpowered, and most of all vibration. Then I got the Flex 3401 VRG and...
  12. Sticky: Re: Seeing Dots! Help!

Those holes youre seeing are called solvent popping.Theres nothing you can do to them other than respray the panel. Though unattractive, do not worry cause these are quite common on some vehicles.

    Re: Pad centers getting soft

With a Dual Action Polisher, heat is trapped between the backing plate's Velcro and the pad. Also the combination of dual action stresses out the backing plate. Thats why its common to see members on...

Re: Klasse AIO + SG = Holograms?

What kind of pad? An aggressive pad might lead up to holograms as you stated. Or didnt prime the pad before polishing. And/Or the 2nd MF wasnt the highest of quality and led to micro marring.

    Re: Pad Washer compairson

With the GG pad washer you can control how much water can be delivered to the pad, and this would cool down the GG. So I dont think heat is a big issue. Also the GG is really durable plastic and can...

    Re: Pad Washer compairson

I think the Grit Guard would be a better choice. I love mine and does a good job cleaning pads with no effort.

The system 2000 seems to only work with pads 5" or higher. Other than that it would...

Re: 08 G37 with soft paint

Also, I heard that infiniti has a new clear coat that fixes its scratches and tends to be "sticky." It is very hard to work with and makes correcting take a longer approach.

I think you would have better chances of selling everything separately. Not everyone can spend >$25k of what you got there.

Nice! That stuff will last you a long time.

Also about the two grit guards. Is that even necessary? Seems over kill.
