Re: Neil Peart, Rush Lyricist/Drummer passes at 67

    Re: Facebook Detailing group?

I don't care for the FB page either. It's nowhere near as valuable of a resource as this forum.
  3. Re: Mothers CMX vs Sonax Polymer Net Shield long term durability test

I would be happy with that performance at that price point, but that's just me.

Re: what's your weather currently like?

I hate winter, and it doesn't get nearly as cold here as it does in other parts of the country. I hate wearing a coat! I'm a Summer time shorts-wearing guy.

Re: New mid engine Corvette. July 18th.

I will be 50 in exactly 3 months. Time sure flies. I would love to have a Corvette,or even one of the new "stripped down" Camaros for 2020. In September,I will have had my Formula for 25 years. It's...

    Re: The Best Product Ever!?

Griot's Garage PFM drying towel. It's not the cheapest product, but it flat out works.
  7. Re: Drying towels , 1-2 towels enough? And MF towel detergent question.

PFM for the win. The Gyeon towel is really good, but not as good as the PFM from Griot's.

The strange thing about the PFM is they have started to work better now when they get a little damp,or so...

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Rinseless washed my Formula on Thursday night, and my C10 and wife's G8 on Friday. Used various products and combos on both LOL.

I love Summer, but you could've rung water out of my shirt,shorts,and...

The car is stunning in every way. I can't wait for the higher end versions of the car down the road.

    Re: rain

I have a cousin who is over 70 years old,and he has almost always had a black vehicle. They stay spotless. I have no idea how he does it after all these years!

This time of year can be...

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I have had pretty good luck CG microfibers. Their green towels are especially nice and plush and fluffy.

I thought those towels Finick posted are yellow though?? They look yellow in person to me....

Re: what's the last form of excercise you've done?

Naw,but pretty girls dig Corgis. Ours has a bad habit of pooping in front of pretty women, though.

Re: What's the last form of exercise you've done?

My wife and I walked our Corgi tonight and yesterday morning. We went and watched fireworks last night so he didn't get to go with us. We did a little walking in a park by a creek near here last...

Re: Holden Commodore SS Sports Wagon.

The Holden Ute is cool, but the wagon just does it for me! The Caprice PPV is still somewhat of a "secret",but people are figuring out they're very similiar to a G8 and can be picked up dirt cheap....

    Re: McKees 37 Fast Wax

Still loving the McKees Fast wax. It produces some nice and tight beads. Can't say much about the durability as it hasn't rained much yet. The rain has finally slowed down some here in July!!

Re: Will my tires ever be clean

Super Clean in the aerosol can works really good at cleaning tires. You really don't have to scrub much. It's not the cheapest option though....

It still amazes me how much tires vary from manufacturer to manufacturer in this respect.

Re: Holden Commodore SS Sports Wagon.

Oh my goodness what a beauty!! My wife loves her G8,but I so wish they had brought the wagon over here! It would've certainly been more affordable than the CTS V wagon.

Continental tires are a whole 'nother animal when it comes to cleaning and dressing. My wife loves her DWS Contis, but boy they are hard to dress IMO. One tire is particularly stubborn. A hard rain...

    Re: McKees 37 Fast Wax

    I'm...

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?
