Re: How NOT to make money detailing

More like how to wash so many cars you need to hire a helper. At our office park, when the mobile car washer decides to take a week off, people say "too bad Juan didn't stop by this week" =(

  10. Re: Steel wool for metal polishing...when to use and when not to use?

maybe try 3000 grit sandpaper and clean it up with more metal polish and a dremel? It's not chrome plated is it?
  11. Re: What do you use to apply your favorite tire dressing? And what is it...?

+2 - I use it for 303 protectant on trims.

For tires, I just use a grout sponge. I hate applying this thick purple gel stuff. I tried paint brushes/foam applicators/towel. Went back to the sponge.

I have a 4 years old scratch-x that is very watery with chunks of white goo.

I'm tossing it into a brass tumbler tonight to see if it'll "homogenize" (idk if that's the correct term) again =)

    Re: Hey Houston Guys!!

There's a PPG dealer in SW that have some 3M & Meguiar's stuff. Foam pads, ultrafina, clays... no wax though. You can by p21s stuff (or ps100, i can't recall) at the Harley-Davidson dealer.
