    Re: chilly checking in

Go to a commercial electrical store, where electricians get their supplies. They usually have WAY way better lighting fixtures. I got some from one, incredible lights! And the price wasn't that much...

Re: what's your weather currently like?

It's late March, days are longer, sun is nice and bright. Even if we get a freak snowstorm it's fine. Winter is over, F winter.

    Re: 2024 Colorado ZR2 BISON .

It's pretty sweet. Ford dropped details on their Ranger Raptor, 400hp. I would love to see SVE get a version out there of the ZR2 with that Caddy ATS-V ttv6 in it, 464hp. That would make that Bison...

Heads up for Chilly - and attn any mods

Being on a few detail forums, Chilly joined Mike P's site and got to say hi! He has had trouble getting on here, and he was a regular member on most days.
I thought I'dd post what he said, see if...
  13. Re: Best way to protect aftermarket chrome wheels

Aren't there some polishes that leave a bit of a layer of protection??? I think products like Autosol even claim a layer of protection.
Polish Angel has their polish, Palladium, but also they have...

    Re: Clay products - 2023

I have a few of the mitts, sponges, blocks, pads. They are all tacky. Even after I broke them in on windshields and used them a few times. They are always a bit tacky.

Re: The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

I was gonna say nobody is at the shell gas pumps cause the cost of fuel is way higher than it should be. Oops.
  17. Re: Gloss black IROC-Z attacked by a rotary..

The 80's and 90's had so many cool rides, so much character and their own style. Yes by todays standards alot are very slow, but at the time they were what was quick. And fun.
    So many cool stuff...
  18. Re: Gloss black IROC-Z attacked by a rotary..

It was 86 that the 350 got dropped in the IROC and some Trans Ams in very very small numbers. 87 got it as an option out of the gate I believe. There seems to be more 87 f-bodies with 350s than 305...
  19. Re: Gloss black IROC-Z attacked by a rotary..

No, your remembering it, there was a Daytona Iroc RT. 91, 92 era. They bought the licencing after GM had it. Cool little cars, a turbo 2.2 or something. They said it would do 149mph.
  20. Re: DI Water System - Talk me off the ledge!

Feedback on this and sister site is what helped me put the brakes on purchasing a system. Good thing too, cause I have a habit of spending then letting things sit. The buyers fever!
  21. Re: Gloss black IROC-Z attacked by a rotary..

Amazing amazing car, and cars. I am a huge f-body guy, especially 'Birds.
82 they changed to the 3rd gen platform, 82-84 had Z28 and 85-90 they had IROC's as 91-92 was back to Z28 as the top...

    Re: From "stay tuned" to T U N E D !!

Up here we have, depending on the gas bar brand, 87, 89, 91, and 94.

Re: Megs hybrid ceramic wash & wax

Yea, and I got some great deals on a product that works great for me. Megs revamped it so it's a straight pour into a bucket now. Mixing wasn't a deal breaker for me.

Re: Megs hybrid ceramic wash & wax

I love the old version of this, the orange bottle you had to mix. I find the beading fantastic washing. I imagine this may be even a bit better.
