    Re: Best Panel wipe

I'm on my second gallon of Meguiar's M122 Surface Prep and honestly for the price it can't be beat. I feel it has much better cleaning power than an IPA based prep as it is acidic per its SDS. It...
  2. Re: What’s the best APC or the like to clean exterior plastics like bed rail caps? I have spotting it seems and some deep dirt left

I use 3D Super Citrus APC for all exterior cleaning duties. It's insanely economical with its dilution ratios and packs a solid cleaning punch. I usually dilute it ~4oz to a gallon, and that's the...
  3. Re: Best workflow for no shade / water spots - suggestions

Here's an alternative for you if you're not comfortable with a rinseless wash. Fill a pump sprayer with a gallon of distilled water and 1/2 - 1 oz of rinseless wash. After your final hose rinse, go...

    Re: Next Gen. Colorado/Canyon production.

The new ZR2 very much appeals to me. Maybe down the line it would be a great replacement for my Xterra. Love that new L3B turbo-4.

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

Question for you all using Absolute -- Does it "clump" up in the bucket, and have issues mixing? Also does it smell like shampoo (lol)?

I've been less than impressed with Absolute just because of...

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

I've pretreated with Feynlab Pure and then washed with ONR in the bucket. The Feynlab does an outstanding job of breaking down the grime and then the ONR wash easily wipes it all away with one...

Great, now I'm going to have to try another one! I haven't really looked into this product yet.

    The UBS is awesome :dblthumb2:

After spending so much time trying to find the perfect product, it's funny to fall back to the good old original that does exactly what you want it to.

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

Yeah there are a ton of options out there. Some of the products I've tried: N914 (went through a gallon), Adam's, Ech2O, Absolute, ADG Wipeout, ADG Fuzion, Wolfgang, Wolfgang SiO2.

    I will keep...

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

Honestly, at this point I've given almost every rinseless product out there a fair shake and I still keep going back to good old fashioned ONR. To me, it's the easiest to dry up, the best at the...

Re: 2022 VW Jetta GLI gets GYEONIZED

GLI's are great cars. Love mine. I think the next vehicle I coat will have to be Primer + Mohs, it just sounds like a lovely coating.

    Re: Rinseless wash sponges

I'm a huge fan of the BRS & UBS and do rinseless nearly 100% of the time -- not just my own vehicles, either.

The way I see it is with a rinseless wash, the drying towel is a very important part...

    Re: New P&S Absolute

Agree! I especially like their interior upholstery cleaning system. It takes the guesswork out of what chemicals to use and is highly effective on all kinds of nastiness. Terminator, Carpet Bomber,...

Re: Cleaning, conditioning and protecting aniline

Gyeon has their own leather cleaners that leave nothing behind, a strong and mild version that they say is good for all leather types. If you plan to use their coating it would be a good natural...

I just bought the Reset Red Pak to use in my gf's car, she spilled a whole pan of ceviche juice on her passenger seat, lol. Steam and extraction were not enough to remove the smell. Will be trying it...

I've been eyeing the Milwaukee cordless compact vac 0882-20 for this. I have a few batteries but I would probably end up getting another battery for it. Can still attach standard vac attachments to...

    Re: Carpro Elixir

Nothing aside from a ceramic coating will truly darken the paint, and even that isn't by much.

Elixir is great, though. Easy enough to make it yourself too if you already have Reload and Hydro2.
  19. Re: Anyone ever put a splash of APC in their favorite car shampoo bucket to add more 'kick' ?

I do an "APC rinse" on the vehicles that need it. I use 3D Super Citrus APC diluted 4oz to a gallon in a garden pump sprayer. I'll spray it on the dry dirty paint, let dwell, then rinse off. Usually...
  20. Re: A topic that has been beaten to DEATH - ONR vs. N-914

I've tried all of the above. Started with N-914 and moved through the rest, and still have some of each on the shelf.

In my own experience I find the new formula ONR to be the best for standard...

    Re: Cleaning around letters/badges...

@ZRX61 This is what you need! An acid will help dissolve the mineral deposits stuck in the crevices. An alkaline degreaser won't touch those. If you don't have a water spot remover like 3D Eraser...

Bumping this thread to talk about pre-soak foams some more. :bump:

Hey! I think I responded to your post on reddit with some suggestions like the SDO pads and Griot's BOSS polishes. I will stand by those recommendations here too!
