    Re: **Bosko's food porn**

Updated with fried cashews and less water making the rice. Rice package called for 2:1 and I made it with about 1.5:1. Got a few hours in the fridge but not enough planning ahead for 1+...

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

i hear ya. i did an exterior wash on my gf's mom's car. the interior is way past the point where i would want to work on it.

your ryobi shows both bar and psi?
  7. Re: What's been your bigest game changers? And why?

The bettix bottles don't work as well for the really thick products like Hyperwash but they still work. You could maybe cut them with distilled water to thin them out.

    The spray pattern is ok...
  8. Re: What's been your bigest game changers? And why?

Toolwise, probably the Tovia electric sprayer and bettix bottles for products that need to be measured out. I use the Tovia for spraying the car with RW before using a saturated towel. I'm actually...

Re: What makes MF get a bit crunchy over time

The polyamide and polyester in MF are semi-crystalline polymers and could soften above their glass transition temperature (impacts the non-crystalline region). That's much lower than their melting...

    Re: Show us your pet.

Some more of Gus. He enjoyed his first snow. He was initially uneasy about the car but now he'll get in if the car door is open. Penny will still put him in his place if she needs to but they're...

Re: New bad boy coming soon! Active 2.3

Not sure how the 2.0 is but the first one (VE52?) seemed like it was plagued with some issues.

Re: New bad boy coming soon! Active 2.3

quite a bit pricier than the active 2.0. hopefully it's reliable.
  14. Re: Anyone Try Griot's Garage new Ceramic Liquid Wax?

Have not. I already have the 3-in-1 spray wax and the ceramic AIO. They claim the liquid wax is the most durable but just not sure I "need" it.

Re: Current Best Hose Nozzle of Choice

i'd wait until it has some reviews. i hadn't looked at that one but i did look at the "Best in Flow Valve & Finest Nozzle Kit". that one has a pretty high percentage of 1 star reviews.
  16. Re: Am I just major ADHD or have you pored a product in a new bottle and didn't label it right away?

I usually do a P-touch label for spray bottles. Where I often fail is pouring out excess soap/water mixes like Frothe, Griot's Foaming Surface Wash, etc. I put them back into old distilled water...

Re: Current Best Hose Nozzle of Choice

Mine started leaking between the rotating nozzle and the body. Maybe it was freezing. I would be installing a quick disconnect for the next one. Mine was corroded (hard water?) and stuck to the...

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

I'm sure the laws vary by state. In PA, if you do a certain volume of sales to PA, they require that you collect sales tax. Doesn't matter if you don't have a brick & mortar in the state.

That's why you need Australians to carry things when it's our winter. It's like having a store that does taxes and sells halloween costumes.

  25. Re: Recommended: Interior APC & Quick Detailer

Looks like Surfex is 13.25 pH. It would be 11.25 pH if diluted 100:1. I built a Google Sheets calculator for dilution pH and PIR.
