Ok I used clay bar from Mothers. Then I polished with Griots Garage complete polish. It looks little better. I still see some small swirls tho.

There is still film/wax on side of trim. So this...

Re: Road film is hard to remove, need help?

Thanks The Guz, I’ve never used it. I once got a Mothers cleaner wax and returned it because I wasn’t sure what it would do.

Re: Road film is hard to remove, need help?

Can someone educate me on what cleaner wax is designed to do?

I assume it adds layer of wax and also cleans, but would it work on this?

Road film is hard to remove, need help?

Is this road film or dried wax? So our SUV is covered in this. I removed this trim to take a pic in light and show you all. I used CG Citrus soap and even after few passes still looks greasy.

  24. Re: So APC or Degreaser all around safe versatile cleaner?

Can someone please answer if wheel wells stay clean with degreaser? I couldn’t get them clean 2018 Suburban.

They stayed with some white film, looking same basically.

  25. Re: So APC or Degreaser all around safe versatile cleaner?

So it’s normal that wheel wells don’t stay clean? The white film was still visible after drying. I had to use 303 protectant to give it that black look.
