Not much to report boys. After all like the ole saying goes "A detail a day keeps the bill collector away".

    Re: Ed's Shop Build Thread

So I've got this cheapo stool I use for buffing. It's the really common one that everybody rebrands. I bought this one because it had a removable brand sticker as I really don't like logos. The...

Re: Flex XCE 8-125 for production buffs?

    Thanks Mike!

You all drive a hard bargain. I ordered the CBEAST from AutoGeek. I went with the 5.5" Buff and Shine kit because I've been itching to try out Buff and Shines pads. Should be quite...

Re: Flex XCE 8-125 for production buffs?

Thanks Tom! I think I'll pull the trigger on ordering one tomorrow. I think with enough practice it'll be exactly what I need to save some precious time.

Flex XCE 8-125 for production buffs?

I've got some money burning a hole in my pocket with the end of the year coming up and have been debating buying a new buffer to solve said problem.

    Re: Tornador for Christmas

Straight. A lot of times I would do a wide open blast with folex then shut off the chemical and keep air blasting it to try to get the stain out. Works pretty good if time is of the essence for you.

    Re: Tornador for Christmas

That's a good gift! What chemical do you run in it?

I used to live by folex in my Tornador. It's turns it into a magic stain removal gun.

Re: Educate me on IK foam sprayers?

If you don't need the foaming action you can always try out a cheap hand pump from one of the big home improvement stores.

Thanks guys, it's nice to hear I'm not the only one that has to deal with people like that. I'll try to mention the hours into each job more and see if that helps out a bit.
  25. Re: Does detailing suffer from the public underestimating how much work goes into it?

Thanks for sharing! I can relate to the recouping money thing lol. Sometimes I'll "wiggle" my prices when I want a quick buck. Exterior wise I only offer AIO jobs with the option to upgrade to a...
