    Re: Pixie (PXE) Question

My apologies, I read through the full 11 pages (as I should have originally) and the answer was at the end. It’s simply has to do with the European vs US spec ratings.

    Re: Pixie (PXE) Question

Here are two screen shots from where Mike reviewed the 10.8 but then at the bottom it says 12??

    Re: Pixie (PXE) Question

Ok. So that just begs the question, why isn’t it shown on flex website. They just show the 10.8 and even when Mike did his review of the tool, it was also a 10.8. So where did this 12 come from?

    Pixie (PXE) Question

Hey folks, so im looking to purchase a PXE 80 (from autogeek of coarse) but I am a bit confused. Flex only shows the PXE 80 10.8 and Autogeek shows a PXE 80 12. That clearly is reflective of the...

    Re: Mixing Cquartz and ExoV4

Just thought I would follow up with my gliss saga. Over the weekend I had a chance to play with Gliss on a section of my wife's Pilot. Keeping in mind that the humidity was certainly up over the...

    Re: Mixing Cquartz and ExoV4

I just purchased it so I don’t think it’s an age issue.

QUOTE=The Guz;1692701]Perhaps your bottle is too old. I can’t recall when you bought it.

Also Gliss is wipe on wipe off as soon as...

    Re: Mixing Cquartz and ExoV4

Well, that is disheartening. I don’t have any miles at all on it. It’s fresh. I don’t particularly care about surface slickness, or at least it’s not the priority. My concern is that it is a sign...

    Re: Mixing Cquartz and ExoV4

So I ended up doing UK with Gliss. I guess I dont recall the suface characteristic of gliss as to its slickness when I put it on my wifes Pilot(only did it in a test area). I'm surprised how NOT...

    Re: Mixing Cquartz and ExoV4

On my wifes BLACK Pilot, I put a coat of gliss on half of the hood. Thankfully I can use it as sort of a test vehicle. I sprinkled some utility water on it (in the garage, not in the sun) and it...

    Re: Mixing Cquartz and ExoV4

Excellent points. Hadn't considered layering /Ti02 with UK. So, say you wanted to skip gliss, would/could you do 2 base coats of UK and use Ti02 as the topper? I know UK's strength assumes two...

    Re: Mixing Cquartz and ExoV4

On your spray topper on UK, did you use reload? or something else. I have to admit I like the slickness of C2v3 but again, were into mixing plus I am unsure of its durability compared to reload....

    Re: Mixing Cquartz and ExoV4

Again, thank you all for your input. I think I'm just gonna stick with UK 3.0 and MAY do a gliss coat. I'm really overthinking this.

    Re: Mixing Cquartz and ExoV4

Thank you for all the input, it is very helpful. I just put a couple of coats of UK on my wifes pilot and topped it with some Gliss. The Gliss is noticeably smoother of coarse than the UK. It did...

    Re: Mixing Cquartz and ExoV4

Hmm, very interesting. I appreciate the input. I know that CP says gliss is about a 12 month coating and GTechniq says that ExoV4 is 18-24 months and that is consistent with the results I have...

    Mixing Cquartz and ExoV4

Just purchased another round of Cquartz, CSL and ExoV4 coatings for some projects at home from AG. This question is either blasphemous or overkill but I just thought I would throw it out there as I...

    Black Fire Pro Ceramic Coating

Hey folks, just wondering if anyone could confirm that the Black Fire Pro Ceramic coating can be used on plastic. Did not see it documented in the catalog and I read it twice. But I could have...
