Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I washed my car, RW, with some ONR that is about 10 years old. The new version, if there is one, is probably better but I have to say I much prefer URW over ONR. I also used good ole fashion TW spray...

  7. Re: Upcoming Project - Dealer Ruined Brand New Kia

That’s just complete neglect and from shear laziness. I worked with these kind of guys years ago.
  8. Re: Thinking of getting a black car, that crazy?

THIS RIGHT HERE! I had a black ‘91 300ZX, loved that friggin car but I was so worried about swirls, pollen, bird poop etching the paint and it robbed the joy out of taking it out. I know it sounds...
  9. Re: Thinking of getting a black car, that crazy?

I love silver in terms of cleanliness but it’s a bit underwhelming after a 5 hour correction lol
  10. Re: Thinking of getting a black car, that crazy?

Really just comes down to how anal you are. You really have to stay on top of it. Static electricity sucks all of the pollen in the air right to you panels like a magnet in th spring and even the...

Re: Hybrid Solutions- A Brand of it's own!

I’m glad to see TW stepping into the professional arena. TW has always had a special place in my heart. My dad always used TW Hard shell paste wax and I would help him wax his trucks.
  13. Re: 1940 Buick -Before & After - EXTREME extreme Makeover!

There a couple places I think would work. I will find out and see if it’s even a possibility and we can go from there? Not sure how this usually works lol.

    Re: Need some advise..

I agree $150 minimum that is IF you want to do it. If you really don’t want to do it and would just be doing it to be a friendly neighbor then even $300 wouldn’t be enough....or maybe it would be...
  15. Re: 1940 Buick -Before & After - EXTREME extreme Makeover!

Yeah I know, by the skin of my teeth.

I am willing to travel a little bit though and I know for a fact I can fill a class with the guys I know if that helps at all in coming back. Cincinnati is...

  17. Re: 1940 Buick -Before & After - EXTREME extreme Makeover!

  18. Re: 1940 Buick -Before & After - EXTREME extreme Makeover!

Hey Mike, do you have a schedule for your classes? I’d like to sign up for one that is closest to me.
  19. Re: Video: Review of the NEW Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray Coating (Hybrid Solutions) !!

Ok. I’m just getting back into all the new products in the past 2-3 years and trying to catch up. Some of the stuff I read about Bead Maker seemed to be pretty good but I don’t remember how long ago...
  20. Re: Video: Review of the NEW Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray Coating (Hybrid Solutions) !!

What’s the difference between this and something like Bead Master?
  21. Re: Using Iron-X in a rinseless wash situation?

You may also be able to use a 3 gallon pump sprayer to rinse it. Would take few trips back and forth to the sink but it’s an option if you don’t have a lot of RW or WW product.

    edit- test your...
  22. Re: Buff & Shine Euro foam vs regular Lake Country flat pads?

Icarus, I wouldnt worry too much about the pads and products you DONT have, what you have is fine and will work, you just may need to clean and dry pads to finish your car.

    I know all the products...
