How to restore leather on steering wheel

Anyone have success restoring a worn section on a leather steering wheel? Car’s eight years old, so not unusual to see but I’d be interested in knowing if there’s a way to match the original color...
  2. Re: Business Advice About Joining Mechanic Shop With My Detailing Shop Question

Just get everything in writing. Don't let friendship get in the way. You can find all the legal resources online, if needed, like a sublease agreement. Good luck.

Re: New M340i - Help me decide what to use!

Lots of good suggestions here, but I had great results on an E92 M3 (Melbourne Red) and now an F10 M5 (Singapore Gray) with carnauba-based waxes (P21s and Pinnacle Liquid Souveran). They are metallic...

    Longevity of Liquid Souveran

Here's a shot of rainwater on the hood on my M5 2.5 months after waxing with Liquid Souveran. Daily driver, not garaged. Didn't wash it for 2 months as I had hand surgery. We actually had some rain...

    Re: Paint thickness gauge

I wound up buying the NicetyMeter model CM8801FN. I had seen Brian from Apex Detail use it online, and he seems to be pretty rigorous (IMHO) about his test gear. I paid under $100 for it, but as...

Now you tell me this? I bought a paint thickness gauge and it turned out to be on the proverbial slow boat. [emoji16]

Re: Biggest job I've tackled; happy with results

    Thanks for the compliment.

I made 6 fairly slow section passes, working in approx. 24" squares or corresponding surface area where the panels weren't large or flat.

    I also used Mike's top-down...
