Re: And then... There was a G8 (Polisher)

Call them and ask them. I'll bet they would. That's what I did. I didn't save that much but I got some pads & polish I forget what else. They actually answer the phone over there and fairly quickly....

Re: And then... There was a G8 (Polisher)

My replacement G8 broke again. I got about 8 hours out of it before the trigger lock button popped out. I couldn't get it back on. GG is sending me a new one. It's getting tedious sending it back and...

Re: Does Anyone Still Use Detail Sprays?

Me too. I like the gloss boost I get from them. I have a couple of gallons, so might as well use them up. WG's detail spritz is my favorite. Fk425 is a close second. I also like GG BOS QD.
  5. Re: Other hobbies or past times outside of detailing

Motorcycle riding. If I'm not polishing my motorcycle I'm out getting it dirty again.

    Nice setup!
  9. Re: I have two cars that are kept outside in the Florida sun 24/7. Help me protect them!

I live in Arizona and I have the same problem. I bought a car cover. It does wonders. Keeps bird poop, cat prints, tree sap, and dust in the air off of your car....

Re: And then... There was a G8 (Polisher)

I got my replacement back from GG. It feels better. Stalls a little less. The button is nice and crisp. I only spent 3 hours with it, but I'm liking this one better.

Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using...
  11. Re: What are your mantras to get you through anxiety, panic, stress or despair?

I like beer. But sometimes that is not an option. A nice long motorcycle ride does wonders for me.

Re: And then... There was a G8 (Polisher)

I was thinking of trying the 2 inch backing plate for some of the dips & contours. It's the width of the pad causing me to bind up. AG has some 2 in pads.

Re: And then... There was a G8 (Polisher)

GG is sending out my replacement. They didn't waste any time getting the new one on it's way out to me. I have some chrome and a set of headlights I can get it going on. Can't wait.

Re: And then... There was a G8 (Polisher)

I should say I used mine for about 3 hours. It took out a deep scratch on my Harley. I have to agree with others it struggles below setting 5. I have a dove tail fender and it had a hard time with...

Re: And then... There was a G8 (Polisher)

Mine broke yesterday. The trigger lock button popped out. It just shot out. I tried to push it back on, but then it got stuck in the lock position. It wouldn't stop spinning so I unplugged it. Now it...
  19. Re: Swap out backing plates or get multiple polishers?

I have a Flex 3401 & a GG G8. I like having 2. I can hit the tight spots, headlights, & my motorcycle with the G8. I didn't buy them both at once so it was easier on the budget. I second the G9 & G8...

Re: And then... There was a G8 (Polisher)

Okay I called them and you were right! They impressed me. I'm going to take loss on the old one and get the new one at a discount. Since I wanted the new one anyway, it seems worth it. I have to send...

Re: And then... There was a G8 (Polisher)

I feel robbed. I bought the old one not to long ago and it's weak. Now they come out with this one.
