Re: Armour Detail Supply Wheel Coating Review

Apparently the maintenance products are about 6 weeks away, among others, I'm super keen to try Amplify and Shampoo+

I applied the coating to the wheels, powder coated aluminum chassis, the...
  2. Re: Cleaning brand new tires before first dressing?

I use that method when preparing brand new tires, or giving an older set a refresh. In your case, I would have the tires mounted first so that you don't have to re-clean them to remove the fitting...

    Re: Elixir streaking

I've been using EliXir on Cquartz Professional and not noticed any drop-off in coating performance.

I think this is where sharing the same DNA between coating and maintenance products helps, and...

Re: Wheel ceramic affect wheel weights?

I tend to have the tyres mounted and balanced before coating. This does make manhandling the wheels while coating more difficult, but I would rather deal with that than having something not go right...

    Re: DFB's Garage

Considering I have more Victa's in my care than an actual dealer would carry in stock, I decided I wanted a sign to hang on my garage wall. This is how my order showed up........................

Those look like sanding marks or rotary holograms in pic 39.

Of all of the recent BMW's, only the previous gen M2 even remotely interests me. The current model M2 is hideous, and apart from the...

Re: Armour Detail Supply Wheel Coating Review

For Australian readers, Detailing Shed have just announced the addition of Armour Detail Supply to their store, the first to sell the brand in Australia. At the moment, only the range of coatings are...

Re: What did you do today non-detailing related?

It's actually a very interesting hobby, I can see why my clients love it so much.

They have actually lost a hive this year, just not enough pollen around. Despite there being plenty of flower...

The local BMW dealer principle has a 1M in the signature orange colour. I know who detailed it too, coated with CSL Ultra. I actually pulled up beside him the other day, stunning vehicle.

I've just emailed my salesman about my S650 order. I have to say, as it stands I'm actually getting quite depressed about the whole situation. Delay after delay is getting old and I really don't know...

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I've been using KCx Guf, which was designed to be a non-slip dressing. However, I really like P&S Swift for floor mats. While it wasn't designed for this role, rather its an interior quick detailer,...

The family I work for has owned the business for 41 years now. With that, you certainly have a "we've been doing this for 40 years" type of mentality. Of course, those 40+ years of experience are...

That was my thinking too. I know Matt rubs people the wrong way, even I've been offended by a few key points of view, but at least you know what you are getting. Is that good or bad, I'm not sure.

I don't like him full stop and refuse to watch any of their content. I've heard some shady things through the grape vine so I'm not gifting him view counts.

In which case, Carpro ECH20 mixed at a water-less wash ratio.

P&S Paint Gloss is worth looking at too, it's primarily for gloss enhancement but it has some very mild cleaning ability too.
  22. Re: what's the last car care/detailing video you've just watched?

To add some insight to both posts, that particular video was made and published for the Waxit channel and not Sandro's personal Car Craft channel.
