    Re: Elixir streaking

Interesting. I always thought if you use a less hydrophobic topper, the water behavior will change.

    Re: Elixir streaking

I applied Elixir last week after a wash. Today I decided to do another wash with the weather being so nice. I was surprised how much Elixir changed the water behavior of Can Coat Evo. It came back...

    Re: Over ceramic coating topper

Do you think toppers actually do anything, or is it more of a feel good thing? I've always wondered that. I use Ech20 on top of Can Coat. After airdrying I just do a final wipe down with Ech20. I...

    Re: Layering CanCoat

I applied 3 layers of Can Coat Evo on Friday. 55F outdoors. Was breezy so it was a bit tricky but I pulled it off with no issues. I waited an hour in between each. I know a single layer is...

    Re: Post Your Beading Shots!!!

I applied it Friday when it was 55F and windy. I was able to still get it done and it came out great. It rained 24 hours later. I took these shots this morning and like a whacko I pulled out my...

    Re: Post Your Beading Shots!!!

Can Coat Evo. 2 layers. Hour apart.

I applied it with a rectangle MF applicator then did the second layer with a mf towel. I think I do prefer the towel method actually. Either way Can Coat is...

    Re: Clay products - 2023

I have two of TRC clay rectangular blocks. Are they supposed to be a bit sticky? I opened them up today and they're very tacky.
  15. Re: Questions on Gyeon CanCoat Evo and its application

I applied Can Coat using a small mf applicator the last time I used it. I am going to try the larger rectangular ones next time. Both methods work but I feel like I have more control to get an even...
  16. Re: Questions on Gyeon CanCoat Evo and its application

How does applying Can Coat with a larger/rectangular microfiber ceramic applicator compare to applying it with a regular mf cloth?

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

No that's not a stupid question at all. So it was misting when I went to do this. I wanted to test how well Touchless could clean because there was a lot of grime built up from a snowstorm and no...

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Used Touchless today. No contact wash. Came out very good. It is raining next few days so the goal was to just get salt/dirt off paint from snow storm.

Re: First day using Bilt Hamber touchless.

I haven't tried AF so I can't really say. It seems that both work very well, and some get better results with one or the other depending on the type of dirt buildup.

Re: First day using Bilt Hamber touchless.

I just ordered more Touchless. Looking forward to using it sometime next week after this next storm comes through LOL.

Foam it with my IK Pro12 or Marolex Sprayer......decisions.
