Re: How to clean synthetic clay/towell

I'm curious about the clay scrubber as well. I have 2 arriving in 4 or 5 days. They look really cool.

Re: Lake Country CSS vs regular foam pads?

I see Buff and Shine as new pads called EdgeGuard. They are very unique. Might try the yellow one some day. :)

Re: Lake Country CSS vs regular foam pads?

I prefer the CCS pads. They run smoother and help to prevent pad skipping.

edit: I'm talking about the HDO CCS.

Re: Meguairs Heavy Cut Cleaner M04

Try any new polishes lately? I have a bottle of essence coming, I have never used it before.

A few newer 1 step polishes lately, oberk sole and owner's pride compound. Which might be made by 3D...

Going to have to get a new one maybe. I haven't had any issues with my backing plates personally. Griots, SPTA and shinemate.

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

I'm starting to like DIY more - not a huge fan of the color or smell. Seems to clean better and mixes very well. Even using it inside the house it's pretty good. Absolute is not the greatest for off...
  11. Re: Koch Chemie FSE and Water Spot discussion thread

Lift is not very good IMO. Primus is way better and cheaper for me. They also have a great write up on ways to use it on the main site.

Labocosmetica's washing chemicals are top shelf. For the...

Seems KCX makes some top of the line products. Greenstar, polstar, gummix, polishes and compunds, GSF etc

Anyhow, recently i seen an experienced detailer recommending megs white brighter cut 1:3....

With most coatings perfect finish and rupes yellow foam should work fine.

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

    Nice insight.

I work away from my home for 28 days straight on a marine vessel and it's cold here so i can go months without washing my car. But I'm doing much better since I discovered...

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I'm going to step back from ceramic coating this year. I want something more relaxing and i can use a primer polish to prep the surface again whenever i want to try another LSP. I love primer...

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

Its fine if you want to of course. Maybe I would if I had a supercar :)

I'll probably end up with 2 myself. just to try another sponge.

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

It's very quick and easy to release the dirt from the big gold sponge. You don't need to use multiple sponges IMO. It will take away from the simplicity. 2 sponges maybe...i like the red sponge from...

    Re: What's everyone's 2023 Summer Order?

Instead of starting another thread i figured i would just ask here.

Has anyone tried the Rupes waffle pads yet on a dual action?

    I'm excited to try it.

That sucks. I've had lots of high spots before. I used perfect finish with the rupes yellow foam.

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

I use a 3.8L Scotts pump sprayer. Great fan setting and holds pressure for most of the car on one good pump up(or maybe pump "down" lol), 20-40 pumps maybe. 1/2 full.

Not the strongest wand. If it...

Re: Pulling the Trigger on the New G9-Which Pads?

The Orange 1-step HDO microfiber? Is it the newer version? I always wanted to try one of them. If i was a pro HDO would probably be my pads of choice.

    Re: Minimum Effort, Maximum Effect?

If you want an easier way to clean a car just use a rinseless, 1 bucket and a rinseless sponge.
