  1. Re: Looking for an All In One Polish, Help me Choose

Yes... BF One Step (once yearly) followed by Sonax BSD, once every 2-3 washes. But looking for a change.

3D One seems too aggressive for me, maybe even 3D Speed.
I looked at the Sonax AIO and...
  2. Re: Looking for an All In One Polish, Help me Choose

Will look into this. Thanks for the recommendation.
  3. Re: Looking for an All In One Polish, Help me Choose

I like the BF for ease of removal as well.

What would be a good topper for the 3D Speed? Durable and hydrophobic...
  4. Looking for an All In One Polish, Help me Choose

So, I've been a BlackFire One Step fan for the past 5 years and my supply has been used up. I typically perform a paint correction annually on the cars and use Sonax BSD as a topper after every few...

Did you do the fingernail test... can you remove them with a little pressure and persistence?

    Re: Customer comment..

That's about the best response here! :D

... and the sales guy was also correct. If the customer can't find value in your service for his product, he won't bite.

    Re: A good AIO

I used Meguiars Cleaner Wax for the better part of the last 3 decades, once or twice a year and the paint has ALWAYS held up well. No clear coat failure and the shine is still there. Switched to...
  11. Re: Jescar - Bead It - leaving car in state where it attracts dust and dirt?

I had a similar experience with Beadmaker, I think it was applied too heavily or not buffed off enough. There's likely an additive that makes the surface of the paint slick and if you leave too...

Re: Meguiars endurance tire gel question

But diluting it probably impacts the “Endurance” aspect. Looks like it’s still selling so there’s likely a market for this gel, right?

Thanks for the info... ordered 2. Apart from car washes, they'll come in handy putting up Christmas lights and hurricane shutters as well.

Re: Looking for an after wash topper spray

I think there are 2 major factors here that might influence your decision.
    1. How often do you wash your car?
    2. Where is your car stored between washes, out in the open or garage kept?

    If you...

Re: Meguiars endurance tire gel question

Definitely need to apply very sparingly to avoid sling, especially in the hot summer states. You apply the endurance gel in the cool when the tires are cold, then the tires heat up and day gets into...
  20. Re: Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer blotchy application?

I agree. I've been using this for the last 2 years and found it works best at full strength. Application is grabby and you have to be diligent with the wiping and buffing, but the shine and...

  23. Re: Adding a polishing step to my current regimen...

  24. Re: Adding a polishing step to my current regimen...

I will eventually apply a coating but that’s a couple steps up from “simple”.
