Re: there are dye on leather seat from jean...

Once ink or dye as been allowed to set no amount of APC will remove it. Steam might help, but it will also lightly damage the top coating of the leather.

I know Dave Fermani used Leatherdoctor's...

Re: All Purpose Cleaners: Zep and others

I liked the high foaming as I felt it helped migrate the dirt up through the fibers. Later on when I started to extract carpets it became a problem so I stopped using it. Still have KK but I...
  3. Re: Is there a way to romove the brown stain where people put their left foot?

Have you tried using a real stain remover instead of just an APC? Folex has worked the majority of the time for most stains and ususally if that doesnt work I resort to using steam and krud kutter.

Re: What is your faviorte wash mitt?

No matter what wash media I buy, I always end up going back to the grout sponge. There is just something about it. :dunno:

Re: Zymol Premier Car Wash Review

Sorry to say this but, they dont.

The real important part in shampoos is the lubricity. Lubricity is what prevents dirt from marring your paint. Manufacturers make their shampoos "sudsy" to make...
  6. Re: What's a good weekly wheel cleaner ( inexpensive ) APC cleaner, or other suggestions?

Both are alkaline cleaners(as is almost all APC's) and safe for all wheels so you shouldnt really have to worry about it. Dedicated wheel cleaners are the ones that can be one or the other.

Re: All Purpose Cleaners: Zep and others

I use a few Zep products and all of the work extremely well and are pretty darn cheap.

Zep Citrus- good as a wheel cleaner, engine degreaser, and lsp stripper at 4:1. You can also clean interior...

Re: Zymol Premier Car Wash Review

    +1

Whats everybodys obsession with suds anyways? They do absolutely nothing.
  9. Re: What's a good weekly wheel cleaner ( inexpensive ) APC cleaner, or other suggestions?

You shouldnt need a wheel cleaner once you have them cleaned up real good. Apply a wax or sealant on the wheels and all you will need to clean them is soap and water.

    If you want economical any...

Re: Is 3M Performance Finish a Sealant?

Layering is useless and has been proven thickness does not increase with additional applications. 2 layers for complete coverage is more than adequate.

The clay in question could be part of the...
  11. Re: How much to charge to detail a snap on truck?!?!

Charge about $20- $25 per foot. with RVs and boats. They are in a different ball park then cars. Not only are they long but they are also high and wide(dont forget the roof). Also factor in the...

Re: 3M Double Sided Tape Removal

Heat gun and a plastic razor blade/old credit card will remove the majority of it and wd40 or any petroleum distillate will take care of the residue.

    Re: Fuel injector cleaning?

None of those additives really work. Gas already has detergents in it and being a natural solvent would clean most every thing. Also all cars have an inline fuel filter that traps all...

  17. Re: Car Wash Solution: Best of Both Worlds? (Aggressive & Finesse)

Carnauba or sealant. It doesnt really matter what it is. Its their formulatiosn that make up its durability. With that being said, AW is a spray sealant and a booster product, not a lsp like OCW. ...

  22. Re: New Toy - #5000 Grit Trizact Foam Finishing Discs

  24. Re: "Best" (Highest Lubricity, Shine, Cleaning) Rinseless Wash?
