  1. Re: Test drive - NEW RUPES Mille and Rotary Buffer by Mike Phillips

Is it possible to just use the Mille for all steps on paint correction while trying to get the new rupes rotary? Or will it not leave a perfect finish?
  2. Re: Should I thoroughly clean a customer's rims in a $20 regular wash?

Thank you for your advice. I will make my business thrive
  3. Re: Should I thoroughly clean a customer's rims in a $20 regular wash?

Thank you, you are right I'llbe doing that. I do too much for nothing. I do a pretty good cleaning to the last detail
  4. Re: Should I thoroughly clean a customer's rims in a $20 regular wash?

    Thanks for the advice Goonie
  5. Re: Should I thoroughly clean a customer's rims in a $20 regular wash?

  6. Re: Should I thoroughly clean a customer's rims in a $20 regular wash?

    Thanks for the advice
  7. Re: Should I thoroughly clean a customer's rims in a $20 regular wash?

For me I would drive 20 to 30 mins to someone's house, then take 40mins to up to an hour and a half for a wash. I was over working myself and doing exactly that, 19 or 20 an hour not including...
  8. Re: Should I thoroughly clean a customer's rims in a $20 regular wash?

Nice way of putting it calendyr. You're right I'll up my prices and get those quality clients that's care deeply for their vehicles not someone that wants a quick good wash for $20.
  9. Re: Should I thoroughly clean a customer's rims in a $20 regular wash?

    Thank you
  10. Re: Should I thoroughly clean a customer's rims in a $20 regular wash?

That's what I was thinking as well, but a lot of competitors are charging 20 or 25 even 18 around here. I honestly don't know what they do but they are taking business
  11. Re: Should I thoroughly clean a customer's rims in a $20 regular wash?

Calendyr would you vacuum or leave the interior as is? Some customers here are picky and don't call anymore. As far as high end customers that want to pay 40 or more I don't have any and can't find...
  12. Re: Should I thoroughly clean a customer's rims in a $20 regular wash?

What do you include in your service TTQ?
  13. Re: Should I thoroughly clean a customer's rims in a $20 regular wash?

What would you recommend TMQ? I barely started this business and got my business license and all my equipment and don't want to see it fail
  14. Re: Should I thoroughly clean a customer's rims in a $20 regular wash?

    Would you still vacumm?
  15. Re: Should I thoroughly clean a customer's rims in a $20 regular wash?

DMW what would you do for that price or how high would you put it to make it fair for me? I live in southern california
  16. Should I thoroughly clean a customer's rims in a $20 regular wash?

Lately I've been wondering if I'm over working myself for $20. I wash the vehicle, clean rims thoroughly of brake dust and road grime, dress tires, wipe down interior and if center console is dirty I...
  17. Re: Review and how-to: Vapor Chief Steam Cleaners by Mike Phillips

Thank you Mike I appreciate that. I just needed a second opinion from someone who knows what they are talking about before pulling the trigger on any of these. I'm gonna jump on the 75 then
  18. Re: Review and how-to: Vapor Chief Steam Cleaners by Mike Phillips

I'm a small volume detailer. I was wondering which would be a best fit for me. The vaporchief 100 or the 75? I'll be using it mostly for interior and occasionally engine bays. Any advice will be...

  21. Re: Best way to clean carpet and upholstery?

I don't remember if it had the foil cap. This supplier is a small one and had just that one gallon of meguiars and everything else was just unlabeled chemicals
  22. Re: Best way to clean carpet and upholstery?

Thank you. I'll buy a new gallon somewhere else and try your method
  23. Re: Best way to clean carpet and upholstery?

The thing is I bought it from this detail supplier of whom I think cut it or just put his own chemicals in a Megs gallon. Maybe its knockoff, it wasn't that strong
  24. Re: Best way to clean carpet and upholstery?

Thanks EL I've used the Green APC but maybe I didn't dilute it right. I might have put more APC than water. I did a little less than half of APC in a 32oz bottle and then the rest water.
  25. Re: Best way to clean carpet and upholstery?

Do you use the green APC pr the orange one I've been hearing about right here?
    Thank you and nice results
