  1. Re: Bad application of CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0 ceramic coating. Advise needed! Thx

I had a small quarter sized spot that was high after my Impreza application. I decided to keep it :) Its in a lower spot. I am going to watch it and see if I can use it like a meter for when the rest...

    Re: Griot's G9 observation...

This new GG9 is terrible news. I bought a GG6 about a year ago. Dang. In fact I have only corrected one car with it. How can I justify the new GG9 with my wife?

    Re: Wash/Decon/Polish steps/products?

I was blown away at the difference between the V-line polishes and Griots BOSS. I actually was upset at the amount of extra work I did with the V stuff. It was so good with the lake country thin pros...

Re: 2019 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Hatch

I also picked up a 2019 Impreza hatch this year. Looks great, nice work. They are nice everyday commuters with a 37mpg avg. The only thing that annoys me is the dirt that accumulates under the lip...

    Re: New Subaru dashboard.

The thin coat of Pearl seems to be taking alot of the grab away. It also put some sheen on it, I perfer matte.

    Re: New Subaru dashboard.

So you almost soaked the dash? That took away some of the stick? Like it almost grabs the towel out of your hand sticky.

I just cleaned it with Griots Interior cleaner and applied some dilluted...

    Re: New Subaru dashboard.

Dont shun me for this.....I used a really old flttened dish wash cloth. It so far has been the best for not dragging. Best I can do is very soft brush on vaccum then interior cleaner with the dish...

    New Subaru dashboard.

I have a 2019 Impreza. The dashboard is rubber mostly. I cannot find a rag type that does not stick like glue when trying to clean it. What gives? Its so tacky it almost rips lent along with the...
  10. Re: Wait, WHAT? What do you NOT like about your polisher??

Polishing nano bots. Place them in the sun to charge, put them on your prepped paint and return to car after 4 hours.

    Re: Carpro Essence xtreme Gloss

Essence extreme gloss is what we are talking mainly about. Small bottle will do you if you are not doing alot of correction.

Re: CQuartz High Spots After One Week

I have had the exact same issue. I have twin 4 yr olds so my coating/polishing times are usually from 7pm-1am or so in the morn. I have a ton of lights in my garage but will find a high spot or two...

    Re: Carpro Essence xtreme Gloss

I used this for the first time a week ago. I was pretty impressed although it was on a new car with almost zero marks. I told the dealer to not even remove the shipping plastic. Used essence with...

Re: CarPro Reload - Almost a year of frustration

I would always use sacrificial layer on a coating. Think of the hard work to get it on the car. Now think how upset you would be to see etched water spots. The hydro2 is a spray on, pressure off...

Re: CarPro Reload - Almost a year of frustration

Once you get it all worked out and lived with it for a few years, going to a non coated car makes washes a pain. I spent a ton of time coating a 2016 Suburban in GM black. I said when I was done I...

Re: Micro swirls under light only

Trust me. I read Mikes article on Abrasive Technology months ago. I was using this same polish line you were using. Stop using it and try something else. I went with Griots Boss creams. You can try...
  19. Re: About to apply CarPro HydrO2 for the first time, any tips before I get started?

Hydro2 can go on everything. DO NOT apply in the sun or anything other than a cool surface. Dont hesitate to rinse off, you will not spray it off the car. It seems like the longer you hit it with a...
  20. Re: Tool to clean between truck bed/cap and cab?

Get a mf wash mop. On the handle install some pipe insulation. Available at home improvement stores cheap.

    Southern tiers pumpking ale.
  22. Re: carpro hydro2 LITE: streaks and spots everytime

I have had Hydro2 as high as 1:3. No streaks, spots, or any abnormally. I have noticed a 1:5 ratio seems to last a lot longer than 1:6, however longevity does not get better higher than 1:5.

Crazy to pass up a lifetime warranty on top of the customer service.
  25. Re: I Just Finished My First Detail With A DA Polisher

Good job buddy. It's hard to place a machine down on the paint the first time. After that, you can't wait for the polishing satisfaction.
