  1. Re: Wolfgang products question's

Sounds about right to me. Those are the steps I took. Rinse, wash, clay, rinse, WG TSR, Finishing glaze, and then, finally, the WG DGPS. I took another step, after curing, and applied a nice thin...
  2. Re: NEW Cordless FLEX Tools at Autogeek Rotary and Orbital Polishers

These look really cool. Battery technology has come a long way, since a few years ago. I suspect the reason they give you 2 batteries is because you can work with one, while charging the other. ...
  3. Re: Wetsanding Project - 1929 Ford Model A Sedan Delivery Streetrod

Hey Mike, it's with a heavy heart that I'm not going to be able to make it this time around. Family member passed away...double whammy, unfortunately. Both sadden me. :(

    Though, I'll keep my...

Re: For you cold weather guys Last

I'm in the Jax/St. Augustine area, too, and it's definitely much cooler than a few weeks ago. Not cold, like it was when I lived in NY.

Maybe look into amazon for some really good water proof...
  6. Re: Wetsanding Project - 1929 Ford Model A Sedan Delivery Streetrod

^^Thanks for the info. As for convincing, I meant I have to convince the wife to let me head down that way. But, I understand, completely. :)

Re: McKee's 37 gloss tire gel over 303.

Will try that, once this little bottle runs out. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

Re: McKee's 37 gloss tire gel over 303.

With the 303 alone, the tire just had a slight matte finish, no gloss at all. Once I washed the car/tires, the tire itself looked about the same as when it had 303 on it...and then, finally, the...

    McKee's 37 gloss tire gel over 303.

Finally had a chance to dress up the tires. Neck muscles have been locked up for a few days, so, did something easy.

Anyhow, I bought a sample of the MK37 GTG, and had previously cleaned the...

    Re: New DA polisher question

Sounds about right. Took me a few hours for my sedan...lots of contours. I was tired, at the end of it all, no doubt!

Re: Help me not succumb to temptation

Having lived in the NE, for many a year, I feel for you guys/gals that still live up there. I don't miss the snow/salt/black ice/the cold...brrr... Sorry, rubbin' it in, ain't I?

    Re: New DA polisher question

Yeap, just use minimal product, unless your car is really bad.

In any case, this was a great read...as are most of Mike's how-to's. ...

    Re: New DA polisher question

^^ +2. Also, if you want, use a spray mist to lubricate the pad, as well while working. So, prime pad, then, add a couple more 'dots' of liquid on the pad (configuration per your liking (star...

    Re: New DA polisher question

If you're paint doesn't have many 'defects' such as swirls, water spotting, etc., then, you can use something like this https://www.autogeek.net/wg2000.html (amongst all the other products...

Re: McKees 37 Hi Def Paint Sealant

Cool stuff. Good to know, for the next time I need sealant. Will be a while, though, that's for sure.

Side note...now you have me wanting to install fans in the garage! haha.
  21. Re: Question for the Pro's, RE: Inner wheel cleaning/glue removal...?

^^Agreed, I'd never heard of them either. Seems like a useful tool, and will help keep rims clean after wheel weight changes.
  22. Re: Question for the Pro's, RE: Inner wheel cleaning/glue removal...?

I don't really need a ton of product for this, so, I'll get the smallest size I can find. Thanks for all the tips and products. I'll get them all cleaned up, and hopefully, they'll find a new home,...
  23. Re: Question for the Pro's, RE: Inner wheel cleaning/glue removal...?

Thanks Paul...looks like 3M may be the winner, here. There are no tires on the rims, so, I'm pretty sure once they are picked up by someone, they'll need new weights anyway, so, I won't worry about...
  24. Re: Mercedes S500. Detailing and ceramic coating.

Nice job overall. Looks awesome...very detailed work (no pun intended). :)

I wish the owner went with some different tires, on that car. The GY Eagle LS2's are some of the worst tires I've...
