  1. Re: Pictures & Comments - Oconomowoc, Wisconsin

    Im the MAN

Poor pictures as it was pretty busy today. Just a simple #7 rub down and soak, then machine applied #7. I'm sure others have better pictures.....
  2. Re: Oconomowoc, Wisconsin - August 10th & 11th - Roadshow Detail Class with Mike Phillips at Autogeek

My 13 year old son Mikey wants to take this class again. He had so much fun at last year's class and has applied what he learned, so he wants to learn more. At 13 he is giving tips to older guys...
  3. Re: Pictures and Comments from the Wisconsin Roadshow Class - 2017

I got home around midnight, head hit the pillow at 1 am, and now it is off to work. Ugh.

I'll try to post more this evening, but what a blast. Both my son (Mikey) and I had a good time , learned...

    Re: Wisconsin class Role call.

My son will probably be asking to see your Rivieras as we have a '64 with 31k miles on it that he has been bugging me to get on the road. I'm sure we'll bother you about Rivs this weekend!

    Re: Wisconsin class Role call.

I will be making the 6 hour drive from north of Minneapolis with my son. Our butts will probably be dragging a little but we're both excited for the class.

    Re: Clay bar on windshield?

Yes, whatever I happen to be using on the paint. Like some have stated, it acts as a cleaner more than a scratch remover on glass, but it is already on my pads and ready to go.

    Re: Clay bar on windshield?

If your paint has contamination on it, I'd bet your glass does too. I've usually treated the glass like paint.
    Wash
    Clay
    Polish
    Protect

Not only does it get cleaner, it stays cleaner longer....
  9. Re: Pictures: 1987 Buick Regal T-Type WE4 Turbo - Show Car Makeover at Autogeek!

I think that represents the number six for the six cylinder and also represents the turbo and air flow of the turbocharger. It is the infamous Buick turbo 6 logo.

    Awesome car and awesome work.

Do you have any affiliation to the website linked?

The post has the appearance of a way to get traffic to a website and SEO optimization with a lot of key buzzwords. You also registered on AGO...
  11. Re: I LOVE ESSENCE - what is the most aggressive step I can use before it?

Good info. Have you tried HD Speed as a comparison? I've used Speed as a quickie AIO with decent results in cut, but could use better durability.

I'll get some Essence coming soon.

  13. Re: Anyone remember this sealant from the 80's - 90's "as seen in TV"?

Wow. I used to use that all the time back in the day. Liquid Lustre was another popular one because the guy would light the hood on fire at car shows.

Re: HD products initial impression = NOT happy!

Better yet, I use a couple small stainless steel hex nuts. They help mix up products really well. I don't think they would help in the original posters case, though.

    Re: ONR surprise

    Maybe it was the water?

If you think it was the ONR, try one spot of plain water and one of your ONR mixture. I'd guess they would look similar.......
  20. Re: Rusty No More: How to upgrade your license plate screws.

I replaced the bolts on my Impala for the same reasons. They were getting nasty and I wanted more security for my plate. I don't want to lose my HAULNSS plate! :dblthumb2:

    Re: dual polymer snake oil???

Re: The wife - "You are not touching MY CAR!

Seems like there is some underlying issues here.
