  1. Re: Video: NEW Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax! Is it worth the hype?

    Thanks Pan!
  2. Re: Video: Trying P&S Bead Maker for the first time.

Anyone that used it noticed any scratch hiding/filling ability? I've bought it, just haven't had the time to use it yet. Seems with all the cross-linking creating a film there should be some...

Re: Visit to Ray Everham’s Shop

    I didn't see a shop .......more like a museum!
  4. Re: Anyone else less than impressed with the scratch resistance offered by ceramic coatings?

To be honest I was somewhat disappointed in scratch resistance. Happy with the shine, just doesn't seem to hold up any better than a good sealant. Especially with all the maintenance sprays, washes...
  5. Re: In Search of a Good Portable Tire Inflator: HELP!!

There will be very few with both 110v and 12v. I use a Slime 12v that has been good and have seen others use the Ryobi mentioned with good results at autocross events. 110v won't do you any good...

Re: Best wax/sealant for new car

Both very good suggestions of which I use. To be safe, I think I would buy both, use the Blackfire first, use it a couple months and then put the Wolfgang DGPS on. Unless you scratch it up washing...

Re: Review: BLACKFIRE Tire & Trim Sealant

Hey Mike, I always liked the old Blackfire Tire and Trim and just ordered the BF Tire Gel. Those Michelin Premier A/S are some awesome tires (time for a rotation)!
  8. Re: Video: Trying P&S Bead Maker for the first time.

Pan, I just watched the latest Bead Maker video this morning and thought it was great! Liked the shocking humor as well. I had already ordered it on Cyber Monday and it will be delivered this...
  9. Re: Your tire shine/gel/coating recommended product.

Just ordered that as well. Loved the old stuff, so we'll how the new compares. Plus you get double the amount!
  10. Re: Your tire shine/gel/coating recommended product.

Don't know about DuraGloss but your comments on Optimum are right on point. Bought a damn gallon of it too. I also have ordered Perl, which will be delivered on Monday.

Re: not many wg uber aio reviews? user feedback?

I have to agree with other comments about difficult removal, not only difficult but downright exhausting! I gave up after half a hood and went over everything with Blackfire One Step. The Wolfgand...

Re: Most regretted detailing product purchase

Hey, I think I like that line!
  13. Re: My poor car is covered in water spots. What to do?

I had great results with Blackfire One Step recently on a car I planned on polishing anyway. But this stuff worked like magic when others weren't even touching it. Hope you are well.

  17. Re: BLACKFIRE SiO2 Spray Sealant review by Mike Phillips

ANY dust is bad to breathe - can't think of any that are good for you except possibly inhalents for allergies or asthma. Wood dust is bad to breathe but if fine enough, can actually catch fire or...

    Re: Headlight Coating Removal

Wipe the slurry off once in a while with a clean rag and at some point you'll feel like you didn't make a mistake and its getting better.

    Re: Headlight Coating Removal

Start with 400 wet sand, 600 and 1000 maybe higher then switch to a polishing compound. Some of your all in ones will work good after that. Tape off the paint first

    Re: Headlight Coating Removal

It's likely the original coating. If that is a C6, I've heard bad results from other owners (i.e. ended up buying replacements), although I have no idea if they know what they were doing.

    Re: McKee's 37 Sio2 Auto Wash

    Re: McKee's 37 Sio2 Auto Wash

I washed today and I squeegee my windows before I dry with a towel, so again no. I will try better pictures in the future but I don't think it is going to change the diagnosis if there is to be one....
