Can I polish out my Tires

I have Toyo tires on my Motorhome. I got a little to close to the curb, and now I have shallow scratches on the wall of them. Can I buff or sand them out and still have them be glossy when I dress them?

Rubber, much like plastic, is difficult to remove imperfections and impossible to retain OG finish.

I’d let that go through to the keeper mate, you’re the only bro noticing.

    RE: Shallow scratches
    •IMO:
    -Buffing/sanding? No.
-Instead: it might be best to ‘hide’ them.

Remove the tire from the wheel; then
remount it with the blemished side of
the tire now on the inboard side of the
wheel: Out of sight...out of mind.

    Note:
Don’t forget to have it balanced
before it’s put back on the vehicle.
