Custom handles for the Mark I, II and III polishers

Someone mentioned that there are third party custom handles that can be installed on the Rupes polishers and I am not sure where to find them. I know there is a standard handle that Rupes makes, but I was looking for the third party ones.

    Hmm....

I'm not sure why you would want to put a handle on a RUPES polisher?

    Maybe the RUPES rotary?

For most people - simply placing your hand on the head of the polisher gives you the best control of the polisher PLUS helps you to hold the polisher in a way that keeps the pad flat to the surface.

A STICK HANDLE tends to make you hold the pad crooked to the surface and takes more muscle over time to use.

A HOOP HANDLE moves your hand and arm further away from the polisher and this makes it harder to control the pad at the surface level and also wears out your arm muscles.

Here's something I wrote back in 2009 about handles on rotary buffers. I was a no handle guy back then and am still today.

Rotary Buffers: Stick Handle - Hoop Handle - Or no handle at all

Here's something I wrote back in 2010 about handles on simple polishers.

    NOTE:
The RUPES BigFoot polishers had not been invented yet or at least introduced to the world yet.

Maybe someone else will chime in....

Re: Custom handles for the Mark I, II and III polishers

The one thing that could be improved with the body of the Rupes Bigfoot Mark 1 is a support on the back that would allow it to stay flat when you put it down instead of always falling on it's side and risking getting the pad dirty. They improved that for the Mark III butif something could be done to add that feature to the mark I it would be great.
