Wow I wouldn’t have ever guessed that... I think Mill sounds pretty good. If I get 1 someday It’ll be referred to as Mill.[emoji4]

here's an interesting comparison of both who haven't seen it yet...

Just watched this video- he makes some good points about the two tools pros/cons.
I would, however, disagree with his assessment of noise. The drive mechanism on the Mille may make a tad more noise than 3401 (haven't noticed), but OVERALL noise of the Mille is less. Mille sounds more like a jet turbine - Flex has a more high-pitched noise.
I will comment too, that venturing outside of the Rupes system, the Mille (IME) is not as finicky with pad suggestion as some have suggested. Will non-rupes pads generate more vibration? Possibly, but there are a host of quality pads and liquids that make for a refined Rupes experience even apart from their system.
Microfiber works ok, and wool pads like the LC lambswool with blue foam interface work incredible. B&S Uro-Wool work well too, just a tad more vibration. Oh, and a second vote for CarPro gloss pads! They're butter on the Mille!
User fatigue with Mille is less and user experience is great!

good point lol, the obsessed garage videos i stopped watching because of this and his voice puts me to sleep. it's interesting to hear him say the flex is more aggressive and the mille takes a little longer to correct (about 15%-20%) and is a little noisier in the drive mechanism. also mentions that one is not a replacement for the other...
I too own both and trust me he has it the other way around as many here who currently own both or have moved from the 3401 to the Mille will state accurately and factually the Mille corrects 15-30% faster than the 3401 and does it quieter.
Also did you miss 80% of the part of the video you posted where the Mille is ergonomically better, smoother, cooler running, safer, more comfortable and the machine that gets the nod?
Which of the 3401 or Mille do you own? Howmany hours with each you have under your belt? I have a couple of thousand with the 3401 and around a thousand with the Mille and seperate truth from internet fiction with real life experience. I personally use to think you were a Griots/Flex fanboy but it is clear as day you are just anti Rupes to the point where you will advise anyone and everyone to go with anything, even inferior just so you can steer yet another one away from Rupes. Its like you have a sick obsession and I am shocked Rupes has not requested you to have a permanent ban and that Autogeek allows you to constantly directly and indirectly bash the most innovative polishing tool company in existence.
Your behavior has done no favours to Griots and Flex either as your constant punting of them along with Rupes bashing has pushed many away from those brands. Personally if I was Griots I would have requested your ban before Rupes. I hope Griots is reading this as you are really hurting their brand image with your hate towards Rupes, its past embarrassing.
i recommend products that i have and use. i have had the flex since day one (when they first came out so i have plenty time with it. i'm not interested in the mille and i use to own a rupes lhr21es as well which i sold. if anything, you bias towards rupes is no different in which you think anything other brand of tool is not as good/equivalent because they don't "make it" in some cases which is absurd. also, that flex 3401 is no longer valid (and obsolete) just because the mille is out? please. both flex and griots have a great reputation in not only having great tools/products, but also taking care of the customers too. perhaps you should look in the mirror because others have noticed your posts as well and you aren't doing much of any favors yourself to many. i'll just leave it at that...
I punt Rupes because it is a reputable brand with great customer service and I amongst thousands of others stand by the brand through personal experience. I punt Rupes more now as to counter the likes of you as you have been constantly bashing the brand for years, recently more so in an indirect more discreet manner so as to hide your hate which is even more transparent now more than ever. I will say it again, you come across more as a Rupes Hater than a Griots and Flex fanboy.
