    You are correct. I just found a post by Stoops stating M100 and M101 are solvent based. I wonder if it is contains enough to damage the Rupes pads like Menzerna. Who knows.

    For future reference if someone else finds this thread.

    Meguiars M100? (not M101) what's this?

    are you going to purchase the HD model ? I did and it's worth it for the extra long cord. it's nice to walk around my truck & not need an extension cord. just throwing it out there, something to think about. good luck you'll like the rupes.

    You can usually smell the compound/polish to tell if they are solvent based or not. I wouldn’t trust this method all the time. But most the time it will work. If you can’t tell by the smell. Then do a quick search and you will be able to find out.
