    Rupes UHS

I just purchased the UHS with the pads. Has anyone used this system.. I am hesitate about using it as the pad seams to be too rough.. If anyone has used this system I would like some pointers on the best way to apply and speed of the machine. I have a Rupes LHR 15ES.

    Re: Rupes UHS

Last year I tried the system, however I did not use it on a Rupes polisher. I used a GG 6". I have used it on new cars that did not need much correction and it worked beautifully.

    I hope this helps.

The Uhs system works really well. The pad will soften up. Don't worry it wont scratch the paint. Phil

This. I remember the first time I held a Rupes Yellow Polishing pad. I was like "No way in hell will this hard thing finish down." But it did and softens up.

    Re: Rupes UHS

I've used it. It's a good system. The pad softens up as it is used. Don't be scared if it feels hard.

I used it on these two cars. I like the UHS system.

Check out this thread. Todd goes into detail on how to prime the pad for the UHS. It's in the middle of post #1

    Re: Rupes UHS

I use it as one whole system with rupes 21es + pad + and UHS polish
and I get great result every time.
works great for soft paint as well.

at first, I was worreid about really rough pad as well, but trust me.
you will be happy with it.
