Any updates on the LC pads? I'm looking to buy some new ones.

I'm wondering about punching out my own. No way can you use the standard thickness so how do you punch it and thin it out?

Doesn't Car Pro sell the puncher and foam? You can probably buy the foam only if you have the puncher.

It would be great if Autogeek could test out and list on their website Lake Country pads that are compatible with the iBrid Nano.

I bought the punch, going to punch some out, however I need to figure out how to thin the pads, I think a full thickness pad would be too much.

What I found was the blue pads desinigrate when the edge gets against the edges on the wheels.

I do mostly wheels on my DD and so far on 8 wheels have destroyed 4 pads.

That said the taper that the Rupes pads have is the key to not making contact with the backing plate.

Punching out pads will not give the taper.

I'm going to look at some 1" alternatives to see if can get more life (the blue Rupes with rotary works fantastic, it just doesn't last).

By the by I only use the 1" rotary so far as the surfaces are contoured and the DA tool doesn't rotate.
