    Rupes 15 Mark II

    Hi all,

In the process of buying the Rupes Bigfoot 15 Mark II and I am wondering what pads you are using? Thinking of ordering the LC 5.5 thin pads. Any thoughts?

May as well give the Rupes pads a shot, meant to play well together as a system.

I would recommend the Rupes pads. You should buy at least a couple so you can compare other pads to the performance of the Rupes. I really like the Rupes pads.

The Rupes pads work extremely well with the tool. I prefer them thus far over some of the other pads I have with the LHR15 Mark II that I own.

Buff and Shine has the urotec's which are intended to compete with the Rupes pads. If you want to take advantage of the Griot's products on sale, I would imagine the Boss pads would work well. I know the Boss microfiber cutting pad works very well on the Rupes 15 MK II.

I agree with the Boss MF pads working well with the Mark II. I prefer the LC Thin Pro's with the Rupes machines if using foam.

I use the LC Thinpro 5.5" pads with my Mk II, they work perfectly.

The Rupes yellow pad is the only durable pad Rupes makes. I wish Rupes would introduce new foams into their line that dont shred as you use them. Everything else I have used from BnS,LC,Griots have proven to have superior cut and durability to Rupes pads.

Rupes pads are all I use, but I agree with Zubair. They just don't seem to hold up as well as competing pad lines. Not even the yellow ones.

Thanks for the input. That's what I was planning on using and was hoping to hear someone else tested them out and had good results.
