3 inch backing plate for 15ES?

    Hi,

I know this may sound like a silly question, but I haven't found any info about this on the forums or on Google.

I'm recently ordered a 15ES and the polisher is on its way, I wish to do polishing work on my cars headlights and A-pillar and I feel that a smaller pad size would work better in those areas. My question is similar to the one asked in the thread linked below.

Are there smaller backplates that work with the 15ES? I know I could just purchase a dedicated 3 inch polisher, but I am just starting out in detailing and cannot justify buying another tool at this point. I am only doing detailing work on my own car.

No, there's no safe way to do so.
