Is there a place to get parts for the polisher. I have one that needs the plastic male gear that attaches to 90 degree bevel gear. I also fried the reostat that controls the speed and off/on switch.

I'm in Canada and the local distributor doesn't do parts yet (they are brand new). The machine was replaced with a brand new one, so I'm trying to fix the old one. I hooked up the battery backwards (had it all taken apart) by mistake and a little puff of smoke and the on/off switch and speed dial no longer worked. It is all one part (circuit board with on/off micro switch at top and the speed dial attached with 4 wires running out each side to the circuit board). If I had the phone number in US I could give it a try, but last time I tried to import the kit into Canada there were border issues. I'm going to try calling them and see if they will sell me the parts and ship them to my cousin in Michigan.
