I have Flex and Rupes machines and although I've gotten used to manipulating the Rupes to stay spinning I always reach for my flex machines.

My new 15 mk2 feels a lot like my 21mk2 and not stalling problems whatsoever. Also it sounds bit different, more powerfull i would say and its not as silky smooth, i mean it is very smooth but my old was kinda like too smooth. My new 15 mk2 is stronger on speed 3 than my old was with speed 6!!!
I am not the only one who have seen so big difference between two 15 mk2 units:

I wonder why this is happening? Anyway im now happy that i have great 15 and 21 Rupes.

Re: Rupes mark ii 15 stalling badly
Anyone else having stalling issues? If so, how was it remedied? I bought the LHR15 MK2 after reading good things about Rupes in general. I've done two details with the machine within the last couple months and the results were great, but I did find corrections took longer than expected. Well today I tried polishing the hood of my car. I marked the backing plate with sharpies and went to town. It was then I realize the machine slows down considerably with light-to-moderate pressure. I'm using Rupes pad and polish.
Mine sort of does this:

I'll record my machine in motion and then you guys can see whether it's faulty or not. I still have warranty, but I rather not send it in if it's not 'defective' per Rupes' definition.
