Rupes LHR 15 Mark II: What is the best cutting MF pad?

Hi guys, I saw a few opinions of what pads you guys are using with the 15 Mark II but wanted to get a clearer, more narrowed review on this topic so I can order some pads soon.

I have never used a Rupes polisher. My experience is detail business owner for 6 years, Makita/LC foam, Dewalt/LC foam, Flex DA/LC foam, PC/LC foam, and GG 6"/ Megs cut MF. I am a fan of MF cutting pads and would like to stick to MF but also open to foam for cutting.

I ordered the 15 Mark II. Please chime in and recommend your type, brand, size of pads you love.

FYI, I don't detail professionally anymore, just mine and my wife's car: Jet black 335i, Black TSX. Also if it makes a difference, I like 105/205 combo and sometimes some menzerna stuff.

    Thanks in advance.

On my personal black 335xi I corrected the dealer installed swirl marks with a white rupes foam pad and menz 3500. extremely soft clear.

5.5" GG Boss Microfiber pads + Rupes 15MKII paired with GG Fast Correcting Cream = defect killer and to most LSP ready. I've also used the Megs 5.5" MF cutting pads and they work good but not nearly as user friendly as the GG.

    Are the Meg's 5" or 5.5"?

I use the Megs DMC5 MF cutting pads. They are labeled as 5" but the actual measurement is 5.5" / 140mm

You mentioned Jet black 335i and Black TSX. Both those cars won't need MF pads, unless they are in bad shape. You will get plenty of correction from foam. MF with certain compounds will haze the crap out of soft black. I would go with least aggressive method on a test spot first. But if you do need a MF pad, Megs are fantastic.

My e92 isn't too bad but since I sold my business and moved houses, I haven't paid much attention to it as I used to. So it might need some correcting. I know my wife's TSX is trashed. While I wasn't detailing too much I would tell her to just run it through a tunnel just so she could feel it was clean. She also has some over spray from some construction workers. Once I get my new order in and I settle into my new garage, these cars will go back to looking great. I just have been out of the game for too long.

Besides Meg's MF pads, which needs a foam interface imho, there are CarPro and Optimum.
Meg's offers three versions, Xtra Cut, Cut and Polish, I believe.
I have Meg's and CarPro MF pads, I've been using more CarPro lately.
But Meg's MF Xtra Cut cuts like wool pads.

Megs DMC5 & DMC6 microfiber cutting pads do have a foam interface.
