    How do you like yours?

Re: Looking for some 5.5" pads

    Ordered these.

Lake Country 5 1/2 x 7/8 inch Beveled Edge Pads 6 Pack, foam pad kit, build a kit, buffing pads, curved edge pads

    Two orange
    Two white
    Two black

If I like them I'll buy two more sets

The black pads will be used with the Optimum Finish Polish on my black RAV, should have the polish tomorrow
Paint is soft and is always in great condition so this should work well for me to maintain the shine on the RAV when polishing is needed.

I'm now anxious to try the combo out

Hydro-tech pads are the best foam pads I've ever used.

I've read that they are very good pads, I looked into buying them but they seem to have been designed more for using with a dual action buffer, I'm sure you can use them with a rotary though.

Problem for me is the fact there's so many pads to choose from. Lol
A good problem to have I suppose

Hydro techs are really good. I've never used them on with my rotaries, only on my Flex 3401 & GG6 and they do cut good and finish wonderfully. The LC flats feel the best on a rotary (IMO) The curved edge CCS feel and work great as well, but are bigger than what you're looking for. From reading some of your past posts, I know you like jeweling with your rotary. I've been using the gold 5.5 CCS pads for jeweling and I love them.

On second thought, yes, these are very good for a rotary. The dimples provide smoother polishing and keep the heat less. Forgot about these pads. If you're a die-hard flat pad guy, the LC flat pads are great, too. While the HT's are good, they lack durability.

Have you ever used the Lake Country Flat Pads?
If so what are your thoughts on them?

Yes, a lot. Oldies but goodies. They work well and last a long time.
