    Random Orbit Buffers?

Does anyone else use them? I have one that I bought from the hardware store I work at. It was inexpensive and works pretty good. I've used rotary buffers before, my brother has a Dewalt that he's had forever. Anyone else ever used one?

    Re: Random Orbit Buffers?

There are some good random orbitals (PC, Griots, Megs, Flex) and they offer alot of value especially when considering polishing paint.

Those big headed non speed adjustible units they sell on the cheap are really nothing more than wax spreaders and removers.

    Re: Random Orbit Buffers?

I have 2. I have a Craftsman 10 inch, and a 6 inch from Harbor Freight that I use on a regular basis for applying wax. I will never apply wax by hand again after using these.

Yeah I have a 10" WEN brand. For $30 you can't really beat it. I've been contemplating getting a 6" too. I always apply by hand but with a wool pad on there it takes it off nice. I haven't tried my mf pads yet. I prolly will when I do my truck next.
