Re: Menzerna 3in1 vs. HD Speed

i've done 4 cars using speed. 2 were in direct sunlight with zero issues.

i also do the whole car then wipe off. and even in direct sun it's easy off!

And what do you use to apply?

Agree that it defeats the purpose of an AIO to top it.

Usually 2-3 months on the opti seal, more if the vehicle is well taken care of.

Pretty nice for a 10 minute or less sealant application.

+1. I have Opti Seal and UPGP, UPGP is a lot better IMHO. Very easy to spread and level it, very slick after it is cured (one to two hours or so).
It is the sealant I've been using the most lately.

My mother's car is a garage queen. Washed on the average every 2 weeks. When out it had the Texas sun to deal with. I did a full correction on the car followed by 2 coats of UPGP 12 hours between coats. It lasted 2 years...not months...years. this was on a SS paint. I don't know if that made a difference or not.

Re: Menzerna 3in1 vs. HD Speed

According to the polish chart Speed has a cut of 2 and Menzerna 3-1 a cut of 6. I use the 3-1 and it's fantastic. You get the cut of 2500 plus the protection of power lock in one.

Re: Menzerna 3in1 vs. HD Speed

Speed uses non diminishing abrasives and can take out some pretty deep defects while leaving some insane gloss and protection. Here's a video of me using Speed to remove 3000 grit sand scratches in about 10 seconds.

That was an interesting video, David. At first, I thought my computer slowed and it was buffering. Then I realized the machine was still spinning (I watched with no sound). Neat effect and gets the point across.

Are there any pros & cons to diminishing vs non diminishing abrasives?

Can menzerna 3 in 1 be topped with anything for more protection. If so what is a good recommendation.
