Re: Turtle Wax Seal and Shine
I used Seal N Shine for the first time yesterday all over my entire vehicle, both paint & glass, and was impressed at the gloss & slickness. But, when I went for a drive later, I noticed thousands, if not, tens of thousands of little dots of product all over my windshield. I used one 350gsm towel to apply the product, then followed-up with a dry towel to wipe-in/wipe-off. I don't know if I over-applied the product, or what? Before applying the TW, I did wash the van in Reset, mixed with APC, but I though that I had rinsed the vehicle pretty well.
I won't blame the product just yet.

TW used to have only crappy products.

would make sense for Autogeek to carry
it as detailers and enthousiasts will start
buying it. If the product is not available

why loose a sale?

To me, it didn't appear to be over-spray. The droplets were in the thousands and the pattern was very uniform across the entire windshield, from corner to corner. On application, I sprayed the TW on the windshield, wiped it with a main cloth, then used another dry towel to buff the surface.
I will try this again to see if I get similar results.

I meant the product got in the air after you wiped the windshield, like maybe a door or quarter panel[emoji848]

Re: Turtle Wax Seal and Shine
My Update:
It's been almost a month since I applied the ICE Seal N Shine to the Camaro. Since then it has been rained on (seemingly endlessly), driven in the rain, minor bird droppings etc. All I have done since applying it is to use the ICE Spray Detailer to get rid of a few stubborn streaks a few days after application and a weekly wash with Meguiar's Hyperwash.
I washed it again this morning and I WAS going to reapply the SNS, just because, but I ended up not reapplying it ....
The water beading is still very strong (during the rinse), even on the sides behind the tires where the spray hits while driving, it's like the stuff is unaffected by the constant spray. "Flood" rinsing the car leaves it almost completely dry, which means less wiping and less wringing of the drying microfiber.
The 'look' is still there, highly glossy and reflective (I know, that has more to do with the prep than the LSP), but the water beading is still so strong that I didn't even bother to give it a booster application - "just to keep it at 100%."
I ended up buying out my Walmart I'm so impressed with this stuff.

I did the windshield last. Maybe I didn't rinse the apc & Reset well enough and there was some sort of a reaction.
???
Re: Turtle Wax Seal and Shine
From what I see with TWSS is that it looksa little better after the first wash

You should see it after using the ICE Spray Detailer.
Re: Turtle Wax Seal and Shine
Apex Detail just reviewed a number of detailers, TW's almost won but was beat out by another OTC product, apparently these big companies are getting their heads out of their arse and making really good products[emoji118]
