? about Griots "Leather Care" liquid.

I used Griots "Leather Care" liquid today. I realy liked it.

But can someone clarify how I am suppose to use it.
The video on the website says leave for 30 mins ( maybe 30-60 mins? ) come back and wipe of any excess.
The bottle just says apply and wipe off.
Another video I saw said apply and wait 5 mins.

Is there anything wrong with leaving it 30 mins or longer?
Does it need to be wiped down after? Lets say I apply and in 30 mins it`s all been soaked up and there is nothing visible to wipe off.
Let`s assume the leather has just been cleaned and in good condition.

And can a microfiber towel, cloth applicator be used when applying?
The video shows the guy using one of the yellow spongy pads.

I use the GG 3-n-1 Leather cleaner (spray and lotion) and also their Leather care product (lotion). I apply with a MF covered sponge and not the foam like the video by Nick. I apply not to the leather but to the MF sponge and then wipe over the surfaces. I use the MF as to be a bit more of a cleaner versus the sponge which IMO is great for applying but not scrubbing. On really stained areas using a soft leather brush is good to clean and then use a MF towel to remove that dirty solution.

As to letting the product sit, I suggest not. Apply to clean or protect and then wipe off any excess with a clean MF cloth. It will still take a bit of time to fully dry and cure. Most of the leather seating in cars has a coating to help protect from abrasion and light amounts of moisture. So letting it sit might not hurt but not going to soak in as much as our shoes or leather products. For my solid leather sections in my King Ranch F150 I do often apply the product more frequently on arm rest and console. I still wipe it off afterwards to help prevent any product from getting tacky.

In either method as long as you are not seeing any staining or getting that tacky feel, then the product works for your needs. Enjoy it, I do!
