    CarPro Elixer Homemade Detail Spray?

Has anyone heard of mixing Carpro Reload, Carpro ECH2O, & water to make "the world's greatest detail spray?" I saw a video dated 9 months ago from a well respected detailer, who claims he got the formula from Carpro, about mixing a formula, and the comment section is filled with great reviews. I'm wondering if any of you guys here have tried this, and can report its effectiveness and could compare it to something else. I was going to post the video link, but there are sales links within the link, which is a no-no.

    If making 24 ounces, use 20 oz h2o, 2 oz ECH2O, 2 oz Reload.

Does Bead Maker perform better than this detail spray mixture?

Another option is Elixir which is ready to use.

    CarPro EliXir Quick Detailer

There is a good write up by Merlin on the CarPro forum with different versions.

    •IMO:
-It’s dependent upon the parameters you
have set for spray detailers’ performance.

Many here, myself included, have used that mix and it works great. Much better than bead maker if you want some protection and real beading. Bead maker might deliver more gloss and slickness but is inferior in all other aspects. A lot of people praise BM’s scent but I also enjoy the smell of the other product due to Ech2o. Both apply and wipe away easily.

Merlin's Majic Elixer - The secret formula revealed! (Merlin's Majic Elixer - The secret formula divulged!!)

Years ago I learned about a "Majic" combination of a couple of Carpro products from a very wise alchemist.
It has become known as "Merlin's Majic Elixer". I will now reveal the secret "Majic Elixer" formula on the forum.

    The BASIC formula:
In my case, I use 50ml/1.7oz of Reload and 50ml/1.7oz of ECH2o in a 500ml Empty Spray Bottle

I fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water (I love concentrated products. I hate paying to ship water)

    The Chemistry...

    ECH2o:
Waterless Wash, High Gloss Detail Spray, Rinse-less Wash based on a SiO2, EcH2o safely cleans and glosses a variety of exterior surfaces with ease!

    Reload:
Reload packs the glass-like gloss, hydrophobicity, and dirt repellency of Silica Nanotechnology in a convenient spray-on, wipe-off sealant.

Variations on the original formula I have heard...

    Version 2:
    2 parts Reload 100ml, 1 part ECH2o 50ml

    Version 3:
    1 part Reload 50ml, 1 part ECH2o 50ml and 1 part CarPro HydrO2 Concentrate 50ml

Love it but at the 2/2/24 ratio for me it goes on like sealant with more buffing. I like 2.5 Ech20 1.5 sio2 topper and rest with distilled in 32oz bottle. Great stuff and excellent drying aid
