3D Carpet & upholstery shampoo
3D Orange Degreaser (pre-spotter)
costco microfiber towels
sonax textile and leather brush
3M 9030 Scotch-Brite 5" x 3 1/2" Light-Duty Scrubbing Pad- 40 pack
Detail brush (autogeek carries the famous detail brush which I'm sure is better than the knockoff versions)
Ridgid vacuum (cheapest you can find)
Flexible crevice tool
That's about as basic as you can get away with IMO.

Very similar to what was posted above.
No extractor here. Just good cleaners, brushes, some towels, and a shop vac.

Steamer is the best investment I've ever made for interiors.

Re: Upholstery cleaning - mobile detailing
For mobile I recommend the vx5000 steamer. Small foot print and will do a great job on all surfaces. For real trashed carpets I need to do a full hot water extraction but the steamer will handle most situations.

Re: Upholstery cleaning - mobile detailing
i have the rug dr portable and it works really well, with it i use a good commercial carpet cleaner i got from a local cleaning supply store. I also use folex and chemical guys lightning carpet cleaner to treat stains i dont get with the regular solution.
Last week i bought a mc1375 steamer (sorry not sure if i can post a link that is not for buying on AG).
and could not be happier with how it has helped with interior details and carpets (that are not badly stained).
hope this helps a bit.
