I ask because HD's videos explain that HD has a very long working time. And they demonstrated it by doing half a hood. I'm trying to tweak my technique because when I used it on two vehicles I couldn't quite extend the polish that far out because it appeared to be thinning out sooner than later.
I do half my hood on my ram 1500, I just pat the hood in multiple spots with the DA before starting to ensure an even distribution of product.
