Good idea. Could even use a larger ball bearing. I like the idea of using a clean nut, however there could be fine metal shavings in the threads.

Optimum polishes don't seem to have a great shelf-life, IME.

If you are talking about metal nuts, they will rust and contaminate the product in the bottle.

Once the inner seal is removed, any solvents/carriers can evaporate away, ruining the formulation.
Maximum life comes from as little temperature change as possible. Leaving products on a carport, and in direct sunlight, will effect most products.
Invest in a carry crate and bring the products inside when not in use.

I have a reminder on my iPhone to shake all my product once per month...
I tried shacking it for a while and it just seems too far gone. It seems to be way to liquefied. It should be thick right?

I wish I could bring everything inside but just have too much stuff. I need to see If I can bring in just the stuff that has a risk of going bad.
Right now it's in the carport but it's away from the sunlight.

I ran into the same problem with Pinnacle Black Label sealant. However, I keep mine in climate controlled environment and shake it at least once per month. It seems to still be very liquified and to top it off the pump blew out.
