Rinse less wash body shop safe?

I have a friend who wants me to wash his car next week. I agree to do it but he recently got his door replace from a hit or run. I want to know if a rinse less wash is body shop safe to apply to fresh paint.

I also have not seen the car in person after the repaint so I'm anxious to see how the car looks.

It only needs to be body shop safe if it is used in the actual body shop. You would be looking for a product that has no wax to avoid sealing the paint to keep it from outgassing. Eldorado gave a good recommendation for a product that leaves nothing behind on the surface and is body shop safee. Meguiar's M305 is another product to use that will let the paint breathe but leave some protection on it.

Blackfire leaves protection behind. I wouldn't use anything on fresh paint for at least 30 days per Mike Phillips article on the forum regarding fresh paint.

The amount of protection (polymers/waxes) in waterless and rinseless washes are so minute that it won't hurt fresh paint. Just don't use a sealant or paste wax for at least a month.

Optimum spray wax is new paint safe. I have it on my hood right now, was just painted.

That helps that you had experience with repaints. Thanks
