Re: Review - Griot’s Garage Tim’s Dirty Spots Wipe Down Towel
Does the stitching seem to be rough at all? From the GG towels I've tried, they all had coarse stitching. Almost like it was fishing line.

Griot's Garage reworked their entire Micro Fiber product line in early 2014. Recognizing that some stitching commonly used on Microfiber towels may contribute to scratching, we went to all radiused corners. That eliminates three potential scratch points, where towels are commonly torched to fuse the fibers and prevent fraying.
PS, THE TDST edging is soft and won't contribute to scratching.
Our Ultra-Premium towels received a silk-satin edge, which is more costly...but eliminates all scratch inducing issues common with lesser quality towels.
If you all haven't tried them yet...suggest to check out our new PFM Towels. They'll blow your mind. - PFM Terry Weave Towel
- PFM Terry Weave Drying Towel
- PFM Glass Towel
Thanks for the good word on Tim's Dirty.... I couldn't get them to change the name

Just throwing it out there you can get 36 towels for $15 at a certain bulk retailer. At that price you can just use them a few times then toss them or whatever. The Griots do have a nice waffle pattern though.

Just as follow-up, I wouldn't say the edging on my towels from 2012 have a sharp edge.
Then again, they have been washed a whole bunch so they maybe a little softer now?

I think the OP should get a brand new towel from GG for being a swell customer. Oh and Billy should get a new Boss 21 for being handsome.

Great review. I almost threw one of these in my cart on my last order. Def going to give one a try.

Angus, are these like a regular waffle weave, or are they different. Years ago Wal-Mart used to have WW dish towels that were really cheap, and that's what I use for jambs, but they get stained and don't come clean the way you demonstrated.
